Jesse Owens at the Berlin Olympics in 1936

what's so scary about it ??
My tricky way of getting people to watch it.
Watch what?

Something we seen a thousand times, kid?
When you're calling me a kid, does it mean you're really, really old or just too lazy to look at my profile ?
. . . naw. . . he's calling you young at heart.

You just made my day .:)

I had it on Siriusly Sinatra - Wikipedia
tonight on my way home.

When my kid was 8 or 9, he used to loath when I would play him.

Now that he is a teen, and has been in marching and jazz band for a few years, he understands the charm when ever he hears him.

It doesn't help that today's music is kind of crap. :71:

He loves all that stuff now. Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Perry Como, Bing Crosby, etc. . .

Owens was a patriot.
I bet that Hitler considered having Owens 'meet with an accident' of some kind, but probably decided
he wouldn't get away with it.

He realized that America of 1936, would consider it an attack on an AMERICAN citizen, and it would have serious consequences, possibly even war.

That is a good example of NATIONALISM, uniting people, making them strong and having a good effect.

I only point it out, because a lot of fucking morons, have convinced themselves that nationalism is inherently "evul".

The Nazis in the republican party are still crying about Mr. Owens.
