Jeep is bought by Italians, ships jobs to China..........

It seems that Mittens RobMe can't stop lying to save his life. His latest ad accuses Obama of shipping Jeep jobs to China after selling them out to Italy.

Unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth. Even Jeep's CEO has come out and stated that they have no intentions of shipping American jobs to China. As a matter of fact, things are going so good, they're expanding.

The new Obama ad, "Collapse," will air in the crucial swing state of Ohio, where one in eight jobs are tied to the auto industry. It opens by spotlighting a Romney op-ed headlined "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt" to claim that Romney "turned his back" on the auto industry at a crucial time.

This is not entirely fair: Romney did not actually use that phrase - it was the headline placed on an op-ed he wrote - and Mr. Obama's administration took GM and Chrysler through a "managed bankruptcy," which is what Romney advocated in the column. The difference is that while Mr. Obama used federal funds to help the industry, Romney advocated providing federal loan guarantees to banks that loaned Detroit the necessary money. Administration officials say those loans would never have come due to the financial crisis, and that Romney's position would have thus meant the end of the industry.

The narrator in the Obama ad goes on to say that "now, after Romney's false claim of Jeep outsourcing to China, Chrysler itself has refuted Romney's lie."

On Thursday, Romney said, "I saw a story today that one of the great manufacturers in this state Jeep -- now owned by the Italians -- is thinking of moving all production to China. I will fight for every good job in America. I'm going to fight to make sure trade is fair, and if it's fair America will win."

Chrysler called that claim "a leap that would be difficult even for professional circus acrobats."

Obama ad: Romney "dishonest" on auto bailout - CBS News

Me personally? I'd never trust someone as president who lies as much as RobMe.

If Romney had a chance in Ohio, I have to believe this new ad will put that possibility out of reach. It is obvious that Romney has become desperate.

You don't even attempt to deny the LIES told by Mittwitt about JEEP moving jobs to CHINA...which is NOT HAPPENING.....Mittwitt LIED and YOU BELEIVE THE LIES!!!

Even if Jeep moved to Picayune, Mississippi they would be moving to China, genius.

China owns 30% America as we speak. So if Mitt makes a boo boo it doesn't matter. this country is bought and paid for by China in the long run so grab your Samsung phone and call your Lexus dealer and tell them you want a PS3 installed in the car with Mitsubishi flatscreens in it while you get dressed with your Nikes on your feet and headed to the gotdamn Sushi bar for lunch before heading to the gun range to shoot your new hollow points made in China.

:clap2:

Holy shit you're stupid.

Us Ohioans are pissed to no end at this betrayal.

We will make Obama pay at the ballot box.

That's true - we're going to make Obama suffer through 4 more years at the White House because no auto worker, no auto parts maker, and no one related to auto industry workers will vote for that liar Romney.

It does not matter to me what any ConJob/NeoNut/RePug/TeaHadist posts to this thread.

Mittwitt LIED. He knows HE LIED and YOU DO NOT CARE THAT HE LIED.

YOU WANT TO BE LIED TO.

YOU NEED TO BE LIED TO.

YOU BELIEVE THE LIES.

YOU WOULD RATHER BE LIED TO.

YOU WANT THE LIES.

YOU NEED THE LIES.

Mittens is STILL running his lies about Jeep ads in Ohio, and now even the local press is starting to say that he's lying.

Looks like Mittens will be toast in Ohio.

It's about Jeep moving it's jobs to China...not happening. In fact the U.S. Factory is adding an additional 1,200 jobs.

And, even IF Jeep was moving jobs to China (which it is not), Mittens is the Out Sourcer In Chief.

He keep lying and you people keep believing the the lies.

Hilarious is Mitt Romney can never go to Italy because of what Bain did when Mitt was in charge.

Of course Jeep is moving jobs to China. They will open a manufacturing plant in China to produce cars for the Chinese market instead of manufacturing them here and exporting them to China, and from Obama's response, this is just honky dory with him. What happened to all of Obama's talk about providing incentives to companies to keep jobs here instead of shipping them to other countries?

4 Pinocchios for Mitt Romney’s misleading ad on Chrysler and China - The Washington Post

The Facts

Here’s what Romney said last Thursday in Ohio: “I saw a story today that one of the great manufacturers in this state, Jeep, now owned by the Italians, is thinking of moving all production to China. I will fight for every good job in America, I’m going to fight to make sure trade is fair.”

This was completely wrong. Bloomberg News had reported that Fiat, the majority owner of Chrysler, was planning to once again start building Jeeps in China, after production had been on hold since 2009.

The article made clear that Chrysler was was “adding Jeep production sites rather than shifting output from North America to China,” but some blogs, such as the Washington Examiner’s Washington Secrets, misinterpreted the article and reported: “Jeep, the rugged brand President Obama once said symbolized American freedom, is considering giving up on the United States and shifting production to China.”

After Romney made his comments, Chrysler issued a statement firmly denying that any North American production was being moved to China:

Actually, the article made it clear that Jeep was considering moving all of it manufacturing to China, which is exactly what Romney said.

Fiat SpA (F), majority owner of Chrysler Group LLC, plans to return Jeep output to China and may eventually make all of its models in that country, according to the head of both automakers’ operations in the region.
Fiat is in “very detailed conversations” with its Chinese partner, Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. (2238), about making Jeeps in the world’s largest auto market, said Mike Manley, chief operating officer of Fiat and Chrysler in Asia. Chrysler hasn’t built Jeeps there since before Fiat took control in 2009.

“The volume opportunity for us is very significant,” Manley, who is also president of the Jeep brand, said in an interview at Chrysler’s Auburn Hills, Michigan, headquarters. “We’re reviewing the opportunities within existing capacity” as well as “should we be localizing the entire Jeep portfolio or some of the Jeep portfolio.”

Actually, they're not moving jobs to China. They've done pretty well over the past while, and since they are doing so well, they are ADDING 1,200 JOBS TO AMERICAN WORKERS as well as RE-OPENING some plants in China.

Of course they're moving jobs to China. Presently, all the Jeeps sold in China are being manufactured in the US, but when they open their plant in China all the jobs dependent on those exports will be moved to China. Moreover, according to the Bloomberg article which Romney refereed to, Fiat-Chrysler is considering moving all production to China.

Obama likes to talk about what songs he has on his Made-in-China ipod, so why would anyone imagine he would object to Jeeps being made in China and exported to the US?

To be absolutely fair to Jeep, they aren't shipping jobs to China. They just won't be shipping any American made Jeeps to China. Whereas we import products made in China. American companies like Jeep will just build the cars there so that there won't be a need for more American made Jeeps.

Good to hear Jeep is hanging around. I used to commute by the plant.

Perhaps you are. Sergio Marchionne, Chrysler's CEO said,

“I feel obliged to unambiguously restate our position: Jeep production will not be moved from the United States to China,” he wrote. “It is inaccurate to suggest anything different.”

However, Mike Manley, COO of Fiat-Chrysler in Asia and president of the Jeep brand said,

Fiat SpA (F), majority owner of Chrysler Group LLC, plans to return Jeep output to China and may eventually make all of its models in that country, according to the head of both automakers’ operations in the region.

and

“We’re reviewing the opportunities within existing capacity” as well as “should we be localizing the entire Jeep portfolio or some of the Jeep portfolio.”

Romney had said,

"I saw a story today that one of the great manufacturers in this state Jeep — now owned by the Italians — is thinking of moving all production to China," Romney said at a rally in Defiance, Ohio, home to a General Motors powertrain plant. "I will fight for every good job in America. I'm going to fight to make sure trade is fair, and if it's fair America will win."

And indeed, he had seen such stories.

Romney was apparently responding to reports Thursday on right-leaning blogs that misinterpreted a recent Bloomberg News story earlier this week that said Chrysler, owned by Italian automaker Fiat SpA, is thinking of building Jeeps in China for sale in the Chinese market.

The Bloomberg story, though accurate, "has given birth to a number of stories making readers believe that Chrysler plans to shift all Jeep production to China from North America, and therefore idle assembly lines and U.S. work force.

Romney picks up incorrect story about Jeep production moving to China | The Detroit News | detroitnews.com

While Jeep may not be considering moving all of its production to China, it is clear that Jeeps currently being sold in China are being manufactured in the US and exported to China but soon the jobs connected to building those Jeeps for export to the world's largest auto market will be lost. Building Jeeps for export to China, the world's largest auto market, could mean thousands of good paying jobs for Americans. Romney says he will fight to try to keep these jobs here. Obama seems unconcerned.

The false claims that Romney lied about this are clearly intended to cover up the fact that Obama has no seeming interest in trying to keep these jobs here.

Even an old rock kicker like yourself should be able to understand that.
