Is this how the Republic falls?...

To be fair, that happened on March 13 2008 when an official representative of the Mexican government told American citizens "This has, and will be Mexico again" and our government did NOTHING!!!!
And we all know how that one worked out. As in, it never happened.

U.S. Hispanic population to triple by 2050 - USATODAY.com

It happened after Katrina when our military marched door to door and took American's guns away from them and the rest of the American people did NOTHING!
That didn't happen either.

Neither of your responses mean anything. A figure of supposed hispanic population expansion and a NRA propaganda video?

How does that translate to Mexico taking back California and the coming of the Amero?

Did I say Doc was 100% correct, or did I post actual information?

LOL

Does it get any better than this?

Right wing loses and now its not just socialism, unconstitutional, death panels, illegal Mexicans getting free care while we kill grandma..

Now its evolved to "The Fall of the Republic" and the end of America as we know it

I don't know about you, but I haven't been spending Ameros. How about you?

Our country has been lost for awhile, the democrat worshipers and the republican worshipers just haven't realized it yet.

Is that you, Lou Dobbs?

1) please check out the following link, pay particular attention to the video of Alberto Lozano.....then look him up to see the "official" reports he's made in our media. He is an official of the Mexican government. It happened, it's on tape, I'm so glad you can call me a liar without any substantiation.

2) Another link to a video you need to check out [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYGrn0hZlCQ[/ame] Just because we aren't spending them now doesn't mean they aren't in the plans for the future....

3) Another link you should check out Feds investigate NOPD four years after Katrina; gun seizures should play into case but don't stop there, there are dozens of links to the fact that our government took guns away from people in New Orleans AFTER Katrina.

4) No, I'm not Lou Dobbs. I'm an American citizen that has recognized the destruction of our country which started with changes in corporate law during the 70's and continues the decline of our country today. I'm a moderate who thinks for herself and doesn't need a democrat or a republican to tell her what to think. I also know how to look things up on the net...too bad you don't. You might actually LEARN something.

You're gonna get your asses handed to you in the 2010 and 2012.

Know why??? ......

Because the Republican party is in shambles. They got their asses handed to them in the last two elections and still think it was not their fault

I disagree. Having some first hand knowledge of 'what the Republicans think', I can assure you they are painfully aware that it was their fault. And if the Democrats get their asses handed to them in the next two elections, will you then agree that it was their fault? Will they? (Hint: they sure didn't admit it the last time it happened - say in 1994. They blamed the stupid, ignorant, voter.)

I believe the Democrats will get their asses handed to them in 2010 and 2012 as well.

Thats the way the game is played. One party does stupid assinine things and get voted out. The other party then follow suite and they get voted out. What makes anyone think it won't happen this time??? From most of the polls I've seen a majority of the American people were totally against this healthcare clusterfuck that the Dems passed. They even had to bribe their own Dem Senators to get it passed. Reid didn't seem to care how many moderate Dems he threw under that big assed bus of his just so long as he got his 60 votes.

Now it remains to be seen what bill the House and Senate can come up with. Should be interesting to say the least.

Well the House bill rivaled War & Peace in wordage and the Senate Bill at 2007 pages was even worse though, based on preliminary analysis, a bit less extreme. To merge these two bills, if we can believe some of the politicians--can we believe ANY politician?--to appease all or nothing provisions demanded by some members of the House including Pelosi, it will require some Democrat Senators to agree to what they say they won't agree, and vice versa.

The President of course wants to sign into law a bill he can crow about at the State of the Union address next month, but to get it, I think the final bill may be even more horrendous than even the House and Senate versions. It will certainly have more hidden loopholes and provisions that can be easily manipulated. They assume they can bribe or threaten enough members to pass it, but it may be after the SOTU address.

I think most of us already agree that this has never been about any kind of meaningful healthcare reform but has been purely to shift more money and power to government reflecting the best socialist/Marxist tradition principles yet.

Congress ought to be good for two or three more sweatheart deals before this is a done deal. Hopefully Levin or Stabenow will help Michigan be health care reform cost free like Nebraska.

Oh Yes. Its all about the HISTORIC MOMENT. None of the assesholes iin Congress seem to care how much this clusterfuck will cost as long as they are part of their moment.

From what I've read that flamming idiot Pelosi is going to try to take this bill straight to a vote without any debate. The Reps will try to block that using the rules of congress. Well have to see how this whole thing plays out. I can hardly wait.

Do you really think the republicans plan to stall this thing?

Doesn't seem like them

I can wait. Years and years preferably until we have a majority of people in Congress who are there to make America better, stronger, and more secure. I do not believe we have a majority of people in Congress or the White House who care one whit about America or Americans now. Most seem to be in it for the power, glory, money, and/or prestige, and they don't care who gets hurt in the process. If they don't know already that what they are doing isn't going to help anybody other than possibly a very few individuals, they are damn fools. That's always a possibility too of course.

LOL of course they will try to stall it. I just caught the tail end of some Rep on a news show saying they were going to use the rules to question the legallity of the whole thing. Don't think it will get them anywhere and we will be stuck with the this very expensive clusterfuck of a bill.

I think you are 100% correct about this bill being a tool to shift money, but I think government is simply a conduit, not a destination for our hard earned cash.
