Police have made a vow following a 'horrendous' gun attack
Police officers have launched a CCTV appeal as they vow to track down gunmen responsible for a “horrendous” gun attack on a couple in their home.
Emergency services were called to a house in Hunts Cross, Liverpool, at around 9.20pm on Tuesday to reports a 45-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman had been attacked.
Both are being treated for serious injuries to their legs “consistent with being shot with a shotgun” after their property was broken into.
The attack is believed to be targeted but officers are keeping an open mind as to the motive, reports the Echo.
It came less than a week after a man was shot in the face as he sat in a car on Goldfinch Farm Road in Speke – just five minutes’ drive from Addenbrooke Drive – and police have not ruled out a link between the two.
