CDZ Imperialism and mass murder or noninterventionism and virtue?

You don't get it. The American people and their elected representitives aren't in the business of administering equality around the world. That would be a nice thing, for sure, but it takes a backseat to the US govt's # 1 priority (ie. NATIONAL SECURITY OF THE USA). If that means us having nuclear weapons and Pakistan or Iran not having them, then we should be doing everything in our power to see to it that they do not have those weapons. National Security is the point of reference that we must operate on, not equality. This is a fundamental point that liberals never seem to be able to get into their thick skulls. You won't have much equality if you're DEAD.
You won't have much equality if you're DEAD.
The other side would be equally dead. ;)
Nuclear weapons are a deterrent. In the hands of weaker nations they deter Washington's abilities as a hegemon.

1. The other side being dead doesn't help us.

2. Washington is not a hegemon. It simply seeks to insure national security, and protect the American people, and under Obama, is doing a terrible job of that. We should not be concerned with equality or what weaker nations can or cannot do, except to insure that they do not harm us.

You will have to elaborate on what the word hegemon means to you.

Hegemony - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hegemony (UK /hᵻˈɡɛməni/ or /ˈhᵻdʒɛməni/, US /hᵻˈdʒɛməni/ or /ˈhᵻdʒɛmoʊni/; Greek: ἡγεμονία hēgemonía, "leadership, rule") is the political, economic, or military predominance or control of one state over others.[1][2][3][4] In Ancient Greece (8th century BCE – 6th century CE), hegemony denoted the politico–military dominance of a city-state over other city-states.[5] The dominant state is known as the hegemon.[6]

The United States is the dominant power in the world, militarily and economically, no?

If that were the case, what of it ?

1. Being the most powerful and most successful economically, and even controlling other nations, doesn't mean that the controller/dominator nation does not have justifiable motive.

2. NO, the USA absolutely is NOT the dominant power in the world, militarily and economically. quite the contrary, it is the most controllED and dominatED nation, being the # 1 VICTIM of imperialism in the word dominated by Mexico, China, India, et al. being plundered for $123 Billion/year just in remittances. Then there tens of Billions$$ more the US is being ripped for in welfare payouts, via the anchor baby racket & false documentation. It is so bad that the imperialist nations actually EXPECT the US to accept this international burglary of our economy % treasuries, and actually bitch at us if we don't assist them in pillaging us (ex. Felipe Calderon scolded the US Congress about Arizona's SB 1070, and central American presidents bitched at Obama for not taking more of the unaccompanied children "refugees".

:dunno: You tell me. Why does the term hegemon being applied to the United States make you so uneasy that you would resort to statements like this.
NO, the USA absolutely is NOT the dominant power in the world, militarily and economically.

"There's no such thing as a winnable war, it's a lie we don't believe anymore" - Sting (Russians)

The Muslims love their children too...it would be suicide for them to attack America with nukes, same with the Russians, and the Muslims and Russians know this. It is pure propaganda that Muslims or anyone else, are a nuclear threat or ever will be. The goal is to ensure they cannot defend themselves from American Imperialism and mass murder, by attempting to keep nuclear warheads out of their hands.

The liberals brainwashed their constituency to support the industrial-military complex and imperialism, by talking about 'humanitarianism', e.g., in their support of the mass murder of Iraqi children and babies. The conservatives brainwashed their constituency to support the industrial-military complex and imperialism, by talking about 'national security', e.g., in their support of the mass murder of Muslims through drone attacks, etc. The liberals and conservatives are both indoctrinated by the corporate news which is in the hands of a small number of people, and the same group of people control the public dialogue on both sides of the political spectrum. This is fact, not fancy.

Dianne Feinstein is considered a 'liberal' but she is as much a war-monger as Hillary Clinton; Feinstein directly profits monetarily from the military-industrial complex, and she is likely a dual Israeli citizen. Feinstein voted to commit mass murder on Iraqi children and babies. When the world's public woke up to their giant fraud based on Israeli intelligence, that Saddam had WMD's, the liberals tried to excuse themselves to their constituents by saying Bush lied to them, but if the public would not have gotten tired of their mass murder they would never have made any excuses about it. They were not concerned about the murder they would be committing when they voted to kill Iraqi babies, which proves they did not care.

Feinstein and her ilk want to ensure that no nation that cannot defend themselves from their Imperialism, can get nukes in the future. They also want to prevent their American subjects from being able to defend themselves from the U.S. government when it becomes overtly tyrannical, by taking away the human right to self-defense and guns, little by little, like boiling frogs. This is admitted by the gun control people if you read the NRA literature (1st Freedom magazine, rather than the corporate and state-controlled news media.

When the Patriot Act first came out, the NRA was one of the only media that informed their readers about the human rights violation of Biden's Patriot Act. NRA members knew about the government violation of the 4th amendment back in 2002, long before Snowden.

Notice the signature at the bottom of these posts.

The problem is that most people are not capable of escaping psychological conditioning, and their own identity, to become objective. Human beliefs and everything humans have been taught to think, are from the outside, and the consciousness identifies with those outside elements and it deceptively becomes the (false) source of their identity, and when those beliefs are found to be lacking (hypocritical or false), it destroys the foundation of the 'self'. When this happens it is called an ego-death, and it is unfortunately, rare. The authorities, rulers, propagandists, take advantage of that fact, with their unceasing propaganda to manipulate the people to sacrifice their lives to enrich and empower a different people in their midst.

Consciousness does not have an identity but education replaces that awareness with an identity to a group, whether it is a political party, or nation, or political agenda, etc. Many people (liberals) ridicule tribal thinking, but those same people who ridicule it are "tribalists" themselves, since they identify with a political slogan and with those others who subscribe to their same manufactured narrative, and it is not correct to call it "their own", because it was given from the outside - in that sense it can be called an artificial belief and value system, i.e, false.

"If we understand the mechanism and motives of the group mind, is it not possible to control and regiment the masses according to our will without their knowing about it? The recent practice of propaganda has proved that it is possible, at least up to a certain point and within certain limits" ('Propaganda' by Edward Bernays).

"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. ...We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. ...In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons...who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind" ('Propaganda' by Edward Bernays).

What Bernays meant is that they discovered they could get American people to commit mass murder to enrich the people in power and exert their power even further in Europe. It was hard to believe because the people actually went to murder Germans, while sacrificing their own life, for no reason or benefit, except they were told they must do this to "bring democracy to Europe".

The real reason they wanted America to go to war in WWI was to ensure the bankers got their (immoral) usury payments through the taxpayers of England and France, as well as for a few to profit monetarily, while the whole society loses monetarily and becomes further enslaved with debt to International Finance. War is not profitable for society as a whole because it is destructive rather than constructive, but the people at the top, such as Bernard Baruch, can profit enormously at the expense and murder of huge numbers of people.

This is why Congressman Lindbergh wrote, 'Why Is Your Country At War and What Happens To You After the War', and this is the same reason General Smedley Butler wrote, 'War Is A Racket'. Both of these men were on the inside of the system and they were so moved by the immorality and deception of the entire industrial military complex and international finance, that they tried to warn the American people, and inform them how they were being manipulated and consumed.

To understand how that works read Deuteronomy 15.1-6.

The nation of America was founded on the policy of non-interventionism, there was some necessity of military intervention such as at Tripoli in 1801 due to piracy. However, the policies radically changed with the Monroe Doctrine and we can see that America is indisputably an Empire or hegemony.

Why do people support mass murder? The founders of America were against what America has become, this is why they established the 2nd Amendment in the Bill of Rights and believed in non-interventionism and foreign entanglements.

Read, 'The Second Amendment Primer' by Les Adams, to gain insight into the founder's vision.

How many of the nations that have received mass murder from the U.S. government, have bombed America? Why do you support the policies of empire and mass murder? What right do Americans have to commit mass murder on others?

200 million people were mass murdered by governments in the 20th century alone. Why are the people who hate the Natural Human Right of the 2nd amendment, in support of the mass murders of the U.S. government?

Why are the people who support the founders visions as expressed in 'The Second Amendment Primer' by Les Adams, in support of mass murder of others and violating their human rights? The founders of America would be rolling in their graves to see people in America today, loudly expressing the desire to intervene in other nation's and mass murder them. How did the Republican party leadership manipulate the people under their control? Same with the Democrats?

So you don't approve of mass murder. How would you suggest we kill these people? Would it be better if we murdered them one at a time?

Complete and utter nonsense.

Liminal, don't include me in the American desire to murder, whether one at a time or in mass. It is astonishing and disturbing to see the American psyche in all its glory. Are you one of those who talks about how evil the holocaust was?

This is the American psyche:

I'm sure it looks that way from a superficial one dimensional simple minded perspective. Do you pay taxes? Do you pay taxes anywhere in the industrialized western world? If so then you are equally complicit in genocide.

:dunno: You tell me. Why does the term hegemon being applied to the United States make you so uneasy that you would resort to statements like this.
NO, the USA absolutely is NOT the dominant power in the world, militarily and economically.
I don't how you come to the use of the word "resort". You asked a question. I answered it (while not be "uneasy" one iota)

And you don't need to say >> "You tell me" - I just TOLD you (in Post # 64)

1. You don't know much about Muslims. "Suicide" (your word, not mine) is part of Islam.

2. As for propaganda and manipulation, it sure looks like they've got YOU PROGRAMMED.

3. If there's any coaching to be done , I'll supply it to you (as I've been doing)

You examine history quite a bit. Are you half as up on what's occuring politically NOW ?

That's quite a list, but it seems incomplete. You missed the time in 1968 when I beat up the kid down the street for stealing my bike.

Complete and utter nonsense.
So you are either 100% ignorant, brainwashed into oblivion, or mired in denial. In either case... not my problem.

One question though. Didn't your teachers ever teach you that imperialism is the taking of a nations's wealth, by another nation ? If they did, and you know this, then how do you have any qualm with Post # 64 ? Or do you doubt the findings of the Pew Research Center ?.....,showing the US to be the # 1 loser of $$$ in the world, displaying in detail, the forfeiters and beneficiaries.

Liminal, don't include me in the American desire to murder, whether one at a time or in mass. It is astonishing and disturbing to see the American psyche in all its glory. Are you one of those who talks about how evil the holocaust was?

This is the American psyche:

Germans murdered by Allies.

Iraqis murdered by U.S.

Vietnamese murdered by U.S.
FALSE! This is not the American psyche in any way shape or form. Regarding your last pictures, it was millions of Americans (including me) who vigorously protested against the Vietnam War, for years. Just because a few idiots, who happened to be in govt power, perpetrated this obscenity, that doesn't come to define it as an American psyche. Such a statement is absurd.

As far as Iraqis is concerned, they are allies of the US now, and they fight against other Iraqis who aren't, and who kill rampantly. It is the atrocities of ISIS that you should be showing, if that is how you think you need to post.

As for World War II, I am a veteran, and I go to a VA hospital, quite often. I see World War II veterans there and talk to them all the time. And I've been talking to World War II veterans all my life. I have yet to hear a single one of them express the kind of "psyche" that you describe. Frankly, I think you are ridiculous, and as I've said before, the theme of this thread is a joke.

You are obviously a pathological America-hater, and you obviously take everything you see and channel it into that deranged subjectivity. Not my problem.

I'm sure it looks that way from a superficial one dimensional simple minded perspective. Do you pay taxes? Do you pay taxes anywhere in the industrialized western world? If so then you are equally complicit in genocide.
FALSE! Taxes are legal requirements. To not pay them, results in severe penalties of imprisonment. What people are forced to do, they are not culpable for.

And besides that. The US is not committing genocide. ISIS is doing that (and other groups within the international jihad)

That doesn't fit the definition of imperialism or mass murder (like most of what's on that ludicrous list) Let's be happy that Kalki didn't include US foreign aid and the Peace Corp in his list of "American imperialism"

I'm sorry you feel so guilty about your part in genocide.
