simple--more workers/more people = lower wages and higher prices....does GP even realize the housing is high because of the high population--much of it caused by immigrants AND illegals??!!It's like arguing with a five year old child. You have to keep it simple with this traitors - thus the term "dumass"...and we have to try to logically and civilly discuss with these people!^^^^^^^California poverty levels have one prime driver and it's not the number of migrants in the community:
California ranks No. 1 in poverty once again. Take one guess why.
"Why is California No. 1?
"The main culprit? Experts say it’s the high cost of housing.
"'We do have a housing crisis in many parts of the state and our poverty rate is highest in Los Angeles County,' Caroline Danielson, policy director at the Public Policy Institute of California, told The Sacramento Bee. 'When you factor that in we struggle.'"
Immigrants make up a majority of the neighborhood I've lived in since 1995. At that time the market rent for a single (0 bedroom) apartment was $375/month.
Today the same unit rents for $1350/month AFTER the biggest economic downturn since the Great Depression. Do immigrants get the blame for that as well?
Dumass
..I had two idiots like this the other day on USMB
GP are you listening ????!!To repeat: Rents in my immigrant-heavy neighborhood have risen from $375/month 24 years ago to $1350 today without any noticeable increase in population. To make matters worse, current incentives favor building new rental units aimed at high income/net worth individuals and not at a majority of renters in the area. Who's getting rich from that, undocumented migrants?does GP even realize the housing is high because of the high population--much of it caused by immigrants AND illegals??!!
GP are you listening ????!!
