The GOP has lost the only candidate thet had that was real. They lost the only GOP candidate that stood on well defined and time tested principles. He was the only GOP candidate that has been consistent throughout his political life in his conservative stance and unwavering faith.
I am sad for the GOP because they now must throw their support fully behind a man who has been the exactly opposite. He is not real. He does not hold well defined and time tested princlples. He has clearly not been consistent throughout his politcal life in his views.
I am sad for the GOP, because even if I didn't agree with Mr. Santorum on many of his views, I felt confident that he was real. If I were a Republican, I could not bestow that confidence on the apparent standard bearer. That is very sad.
