HISTORY OF LANGUAGE

Why do you say that? There is a reliable historical record that says it happened

No, there is not
Yes there is. The Bible has been proven to be an accurate historical document. If it says it happened, it happened. Your unbelief does not change that.

The Bible is a work of fiction written by people over 1000 years ago to, like all mythology, explain events science could not do at the time. It was also a way to control the populace and bring some kind of civil order to society

Your ignorance is appalling.

Ironic statement from someone who believes in primitive mythology.
Ironic statement from someone who claims to know how to think and reason.

How so? People who think and reason don't believe in 2nd century mythology of supernatural gods controlling the cosmos. Such beliefs are the epitome of ignorance and a lack of thinking and reasoning.

I always find it amusing how people see the Bible on verse at a time as opposed to the overview of mankind's moral development.
By the time Noach was informed of the impending flood, people were all over the Eastern hemisphere and spoke many languages.
Noach's immediate family survived the flood and emerged speaking one language.
And then they proceeded to produce a Bill Gates/Mark Zuckerberg/Capitalist Asshole type who convinced everyone to work for him.
God never wanted a monolithic humankind with a dictator and so reintroduced all the original languages.
Each person probably spoke the language that their soul was inclined to converse in.

This is a very interesting article. Note that it says that all languages, about 5,000 of them, originatted from less than 20 parent languages. I find this interesting, because I believe that if evolution were true, there would be a single parent language. There isn't. Which would seem to lend credence to the Biblical story of the tower of babel.Just my opinion. What do you think?

"I believe that if evolution were true, there would be a single parent language. "

Why? You know people didn't have cellphones then, right?

These are some of the oldest people on the planet right off the coast of India and no one can find a link to any other known language since they were isolated.

The most interesting part of the history of languages is the weaponization of language.

Your language is your identity and the protector of your market, against the flood of foreign trade that swamps you away.

So some countries, most notably France and the Slavonic countries, have started a systematic obliteration of all languages that are different from their state language.

Language is also the prime tool of aggressive assimilation and socialism.
