Five calligraphers from Herat are expected to display their work.
“The portraits which have been selected, reflect the special Herat style of calligraphy,” said Mirwali Ahmad Sabri, member of Herat calligraphers’ association.
“We will display over ten works in the exhibition. They show Suls writings (a form of Persian calligraphy),” said Abdul Jalil Tawana, member of the Herat calligraphers’ association.
The chairman of Herat calligraphers said that the exhibition will help Afghan artists and calligraphers to introduce their works to the world.
