Has Trump defeated ISIS yet? Does he even have a plan?

I guess you're too stupid to understand what he meant when ...

Trumpslaining!

He doesnt have a plan because uh, you're too stupid to see it and stuff!

Actually, Trump's been up front about not releasing plans to the public. It's about them not knowing what hits em. Y'all need to stop listening to Democrat Fake News. You need to instead listen to the man himself.

Whne the Iraqis force them out of Mosul we will have to find their secret home base before we bomb the shit out of it.

:thewave::thewave:

We're already bombing the shit out of it. Do you really believe it's the Iraqis who are exterminating ISIS in Mosul? I got news for ya, it's us. The Iraq Government is a corrupt incompetent US Puppet. ISIS could overthrow it in a week.

And i have even more news for ya. After a 'victory' in Mosul, the war will still drag on & on. US Generals in Iraq have stated that. One described it as a 'long-fought battle.' As if 14yrs isn't long enough. It's a bloody mess over there. Even after ISIS is gone, the Sunnis will continue to fight the Shiites in Iraq. We opened Pandora's Box. The Iraq War is far from over.

Air support can only do so much. You don't see those weekly coffins coming in from Iraq do ya?

Oh I agree the invasion and mostly the occupation caused the ongoing Civil War in Iraq and it is still threatening to become a regional war. We'll be paying for that blunder for a long time to come.

Amen! Bush fucked us really long time!

Both Bush presidents gave us ISIS - especially Bush 43. Not only did Bush 43 lie us into Iraq - his daddy, Bush 41, lied us into the First Gulf War by suckering Saddam into invading Kuwait. The Bushes cost America much prestige, blood and treasure.

Bush 41 suckered Saddam into invading Kuwait by giving him the "green light" via April Glaspie.

It is now more than fifteen years since that fateful meeting on July 25, 1990 between then-US Ambassador to Iraq April Glaspie and President Saddam Hussein that the Iraqi leader interpreted as a "green light" from Washington for his invasion of Kuwait eight days later.

Trump orders Pentagon to draft ISIS strategy, restructuring of security council

By Philip Rucker and Missy Ryan January 28, 2017

President Trump signed three executive actions on Saturday afternoon, including one directing the Pentagon to draft a plan to destroy the Islamic State and another formalizing new lobbying restrictions on administration officials.

One of Trump’s directives orders his new defense secretary, retired Marine Gen. James Mattis, to submit a strategy within 30 days to defeat the Islamic State, signaling that the new president hopes to make good on his campaign promise to more aggressively confront global terrorism than his predecessor.

Well, it's more complicated than that. The creation of Al Qaeda and ISIS goes back to the Soviets and Afghanistan. The US, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan funded and armed Islamists to oust the Soviets. That was the origins of Bin Laden's Al Qaeda.

But the Iraq War was a horrific blunder. That i can agree with you on. The biggest winners of that blunder have been Al Qaeda, ISIS, and Iran. It's time to get out. Time to come home.

I'm good with that. If Russia exterminates ISIS, that'll be a good thing for the world. But again, Trump's plan isn't gonna be released to the public. Why would it be? That would be pretty damn stupid.

Trump´s plan was "bombing the shit out of ISIS". The previous plan was "backing everyone who fights the Syrian government even it means to create them". Trump´s sounds better. But since the "warlords on terror" refuse to send troops, they have to choose a side to support. The US currently supports opposing groups, the "rebels" and the Kurds and the Russians the "rebels" (only Erdogan army rebels) and the Syrian government. If this continues, the real showdown will take place when ISIS is gone. The Kurds and the Syrian government have a non-aggression pact, particular in the Aleppo province. In the Hasaka province there are tensions on a regular bases, as this region is especially demanded by the Kurds for their own state or autonomy region.

My biggest concern is that Assad and Russia have repeatedly warned that many ISIS fighters have given up and have fled to Western Europe and the US as 'Refugees.' I know the American and Western European Left have ignored the warnings, but i'm deeply concerned. I'm very worried about internal threats. There's no external threat the US can't handle. But internal threats are far more difficult and dangerous.

The Syrian government has an effective intelligence that is active in rebel and isis areas but also in Turkish refugee camps. The Syrian government informs European countries of known incoming terrorists. They could do something about the threat but they refuse to. Some months ago, Germany fired an Iraqi, who was employed as advisor, because he warned of the threat.

I agree. America not that much. Few refugees arrive and they are documented and get their background checks. Not so in Europe, where threats involving foreigners are tabooed. All the refugees head for Europe, particularly Germany.

"Germany does not know the whereabouts of 130,000 asylum seekers who were registered last year, officials say.

The migrants did not appear at reception centres to which they had been directed, the government said in a written reply to a question.

This may be because they have moved to a different country, gone underground or registered several times.

Those missing represent about 13% of about 1.1 million asylum seekers registered in Germany in 2015"

America is far way from the war, whereas the refugees walked from Greece to Germany. Erdogan gave them some paper, many shops reported that the refugees were paying everything with 500 € bills. Those who missed Germany and walked to Austria were collected by German "special trains". America´s problem is rather Muslim residents who were radicalized via the Internet but it is nothing compared to our problem.
