I don’t have a lot of respect for singers. I cannot sing, I don’t have the voice for it. It isn’t because I haven’t tried, it’s because I wasn’t born with that ability.

People are not born with the ability to play a guitar, or a piano, or a fiddle. That takes a lot of work and dedication. I can respect that.

Singers are a dime-a-dozen. Greatness comes from singers who can play.
