GOP chances for Senate takeover all but gone

They're prospects aren't gone, but they are significantly dampened, but that's what happens when you nominate religious nut job zealots to represent your ticket.

Regardless of who wins the presidency, the two parties are going to have to work together.

Or we can continue to sink in paralysis, with both parties pointing the finger at the other for our demise.

I guess we'll see, huh?

Nothing will change.

If Obama wins and the House stays Republican...we lose.

If Romney wins and the Senate stays Democrat...we lose.

Now that's perfect! Obamaclone Romney can "reach across the isle" to work with the opposition "in a bi-partisan manner" to pass each others oppressive legislation.

Americans will eat it up. "Oh it's good to see them getting a long again!".

Not quite accurate.

IF the senate goes GOP, the ONLY need to work with the Dims will be to get around their resort (again) to pure obstructionism, like the misuse and overuse of the filibuster.

Otherwise, the only "need" for bi-partisanship will be for mere appearances.

However, should the Senate not get captured by the GOP, the minority Dim hacks will NEVER seek partisanship on the major concerns of the GOP. You can expect lots of gridlock. OK.

We are still better off than when they "accomplish" any part of the lib agenda.
