It's not just a matter of "go". This ugly, abhorrence comes TO US on TV in news reports, as well as on the internet. it also seen in the street for people unlucky enough to be living or driving near it.

I do notice that they have moved the St Pete Parade from Central Ave, (a main thoroughfare) over to a small sliver of street, right along Tampa Bay, on the east side of it. That makes accessibility to it 50% less (except for a few boaters), and is a reflection of the push by conservatives to get this monstrosity away from the mainstream, and isolate it in relative nowhere place.
