Fuck it! Let Bernie win.

Sure it does. It's all about the free stuff. That is what the supporters say. When they can actually state why they support him that is.

Bernie is one of the few talking about getting private monied interests out of politics. Do you disagree with that? Do you think politics should be a contest of who can gain the favor of the most rich and powerful people? We need to level the playing field. Your message should matter more than the amount of money you have access to.

This is drifting off the subject. Hey, let Bernie win. Chances are the disastrous effects of what he wants to do will happen after I'm gone. The people who will have to suffer are the young, and they are the idiots voting for him.

That was your original premise, yet you haven't managed to instill fear in anyone here. Guess you'll just have to tolerate the fact that the conversation doesn't always fit within your narrow rules.

Good bye you illiterate retard.

Any of us can be president. If we had Millions of dollars. I am about to pull down the lever on Sanders, he gets money and support from the PEOPLE, not PACs.

No.. Bern gets his funding from labor unions. Little microcosms of Socialism who've driven all the jobs out of our country by overwhelming the capitalists. He has never held a private sector job. He has been a politician losing elections since high school. And he will lose this campaign as well because the Democratic Machine won't let him win. He's now 2-0 in terms of the people voting... he has won two primaries but he is 0-2 in terms of delegates because the DNC has no intention of him winning over Hillary. THEY control the shots, you have nothing to say about it... Enjoy Socialism!

There you go again with the "labor unions" malarkey.

I don't generally play the links game but this is from the FEC disclosures and reported by OpenSecrets.org:

It would be refreshing if the DNC finally came out of the political closet and stopped playing propaganda games and actually endorsed a freaking Marxist Communist like they always wanted.

Is my math off?

How much is two million minus twenty then?

Roll tape.

Is my math off?

How much is two million minus twenty then?

What the fuck does 2 million have to do with where Bernie is getting the bulk of his campaign financing from? Yes, he has had 2 mil. people donate to him... some of them donated through their labor union without their consent. What's your point? :dunno:

IDIOT!

That so?

The twenty on your list above, combined, adds up to a little over a million bucks. Sanders raised well over 6 million just in the 24 hours after the NH primary alone. That doesn't even count contributions before or since.

Moreover your own link notes, "The organizations themselves did not donate, rather the money came from the organizations' PACs, their individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals' immediate families." (emphasis in the original)

So Mary's right, and you're wrong. And once again, you won't have the balls to admit it.

Yet another poster who doesn't know what democratic socialism means...

I know exactly what it means because I studied world history. It's actually an oxymoron. Socialism is not "democratic" and it can't be. Democracy is when everyone gets a vote... Socialism is when government controls everything. If government has the power of control there is no vote. The term "democratic socialism" is a ruse designed to fool the ignorant into thinking they will control their own destiny. As soon as you've turned your freedom over to government you can forget controlling your own destiny... you'll do as your Socialist government tells you to do. You might get to vote on who controls you but it will always and forever be a Socialist and it will be purely cosmetic... something for the Socialist government to parade around and show the world they are "democratic" when they're nothing remotely close to it.

More proof that you don't know what you are talking about.

Look a vote for Bernie Sanders is a vote for Donald Trump. Sanders would get creamed in a National Election.

This country is center, it always has been, it always will be. It will not elect far left or far right candidates. Bernie Sanders is so far left, he might as well be from Mars. This country would never elect any candidate that was out there campaigning on free college tuition.

By some remote miracle that Bernie Sanders became President, if he didn't die first, you would see Republicans & Democrats finally agree on something. They would tie him up, tape his mouth shut and K-hole him in a closet for the next 4 years. Not even the most liberal Democrat in Washington D.C. would vote for free college tuition. Since Bernie Sanders is really not a Democrat, (he just changed party recently) to run as one, he would have no support from anyone in the Senate or Congress for any of his policies. Making for a Miserable Presidency.

Hillary Clinton buried the old fart's ass last night during the PBS debate. On a one on one debate it was very clear that he became very frustrated, was flaying his arms everywhere, (even when she was speaking). He got very red faced--slobbering-sweating--coughing--wheezing--at times he looked like he was going to pass out, and or was having a heart attack. He was asked very specific questions that he couldn't answer, and immediately reverted back to his canned speech. He has no solutions to problems, he's all about the blather and canned speeches.

So here is what to expect if Bernie Sanders is the nominee of the Democrat Party. Just move the blue over to New Hampshire & Vermont, and color the rest of the country RED.

Bernie Sanders is NOT a Democrat, he is a Socialist. He recently changed his party status to Democrat to run for POTUS, and he probably has some serious regrets of doing that after having to debate Hillary Clinton one on one.

Hey, I understand how CFR laws work... none of the listed Unions contributed the amount shown, they can only contribute $2k each as a matter of federal law. The amounts are an accumulation of individuals on behalf of those unions. They are largely made by the Union heads without consent of the individual. So yes... individuals ARE donating to Bernie whether they want to or not... because they belong to Unions who donate their money for them.

Now Mary said he wasn't taking money from PACs and he certainly IS according to the FEC. But the primary source of his campaign is being funded by labor unions. Contrast with Hillary's campaign which is largely being funded by Wall Street investment bankers and hedge fund managers.

Moreover your own link notes....

See, this is why I don't play the links game. You libtards like to twist and contort what information is given or you attack the source. You can't really attack the source here because it's the FEC, so you try to diminish the information by constructing straw men arguments that have nothing to do with the point.

Don't you ever fucking ask me to give you a link again... I'M DONE!

Hillary Clinton explained that last night in the PBS debate. Barack Obama was funded by super pacs from Wall Street, and in fact more heavily that any other candidate in this nation's history. It was the same pac that had money left over from Obama's campaign that they donated to Hillary Clinton's campaign. Regardless she made a very good point--that all this money Obama got from Wall Street, didn't stop him from doing the Dodd/Frank bill.
Arts

You people really need to get off of this shit. A vote for Bernie Sanders is a vote for Donald Trump. I doubt Trump would do much with Wall Street other than manipulate it with his own money.

This is what to expect if Bernie Sanders is the nominee. Just move the blue part to New Hampshire and Vermont and color the rest of the country RED.

And if you idiots don't know Greece went bankrupt over the same exact policies that Bernie Sanders is promoting. Sanders proposals would mean growing government spending by 40%, which would bankrupt this country.

That is how it works.
People give their money to the union or corporation and the union & corp. gives it to their candidate.
It is still Super PAC money whether you lefties want to admit or not.
The left spin it all they want but the fact is Unions are Super PAC also.

Those are Unions.

Those are a list of twenty. As already posted (148), that entire list, combined, is far far less than what individuals have contributed to the Sanders campaign. Which completely puts the lie to the poster's point.

He might as well have claimed the Sanders contributions have come from people whose last name begins with the letter "Q". I'm sure, given a million or more names, that some could be found, but it's a dishonest point to make. And he knows it.

Nope... You're trying to segregate the posted union contributions from the individual contributions and they are all the same individuals. Any corporate entity can donate up to $2k and that's all they can donate. The list I posted is showing you the money that has been contributed by individuals who belong to the various unions. Now, he has other people donating to him as well... Marxists, Maoists, Trotskyites, Stalinists, Leninists... lots of people. But his MAIN support comes from labor unions as the list shows.

You're actually coming on the internet to suggest all two million of these contributions all came from unions??

Pathetic. You lost, K? Man up and get over it. Either that, or get busy on those 1,999,980 links to the union relationship of those two million contributions.

Dishonest hack.
