Fox legal analyst: Hosting G-7 at Trump property is a 'profound' violation 'of the Emoluments Clause'
Last week, many celebrated the departure of Shep Smith, but there is still more work to do before Fox can become a proper enough defender of Trump and America as a whole -- Chris Wallace has to go, Cavuto has to go and most definitely should Napolitano not only be fired, but he should also be investigated for treason.
"Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano claimed that President Trump will be violating the Constitution by hosting the 2020 G-7 summit at one of his own properties in Florida. Napolitano went on to say, "The founders of this country “were concerned about a gift or cash coming directly or indirectly to the president of the United States, even if it’s done at a loss," he continued. "Now, the president owns shares of stock in a corporation that is one of the owners of this, along with many other investors. He also owns shares of stock in the corporation that manages it. So, those corporations will receive a great deal of money from foreign heads of state because this is there. That’s exactly, exactly what the Emoluments Clause was written to prohibit,” Napolitano concluded."
Trump is perfectly justified to hold the G-7 (hopefully by then the G-8) at his own property because there is no other place in America worthy enough to hold such an esteemed event -- and we as a country owe this to Trump as payment for all that he has done and all that he has suffered from the media and the libs on our behalf. This is all a distraction from the fact that Joe Biden used his position as VP for his own personal profit and for that of his son, Barr is days away from issuing indictments against the Bidens -- but Fox News is talking about Trump profiting from his position as President?? This is outrageous.
