Founding Fathers. The neverending story

Increasingly frequently people appeal to the Founding Fathers' beliefs as absolute truth. I find it both confusing and embarrassing when in the middle of a brisk discussion someone come ups with the following gem: "Hey, we cannot do that, the Founding Fathers never wanted this to happen". The Founding Fathers didn't want a lot of things to happen in this country. Our nation is transforming, so does the environment, which is to put it mildly has changed dramatically over years.

The environment you speak of needs to be within the scope of the Constitution. Those lines are not as clear today as once before
