The Newtown shooter did not use the semi-automatic "assault rifle" found at the scene. He used the pistols. Feinstein is trying to ban the rifles...and clips that hold more than 7 rounds. That includes a lot of pistols. People that sell guns to criminals do nor require background checks. They know the purchasers are criminal. They just want the money.
