Are you telling me that a case cannot be brought before the Supreme Court that challenges a past decision and are you saying that a jury cannot free a defendent because they disagree with the law that he is charged with?

Actually I can find no reference on the Internet that a Supreme Court decision ever reversed a previous US Supreme Court Decision. But I don't know the rules of the US Supreme Court.

A jury can do anything including finding that a defendent can be freed even if they are violating existing law relevant to the case and which they were given instruction to follow by the judge.

But the judge can overrule the juries decision based on the law.
