Economy could suffer if tax cut, jobless aid end

Well, we've had 3 years of Obama's crap and that hasn't done jack-shit. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result. Democrats are insane.

Repugs want to cut away these two things, are they really fiscally responsible?

It wont help, that is for sure. But as a major impact... not really, most likely just another factor in keeping the negative status quo.

The problem is lack of demand, because people dont have faith in the economy or have income/jobs/income growth and have huge debts... and that means companies dont hire because there is no.... drum-roll..... demand for their products. So any free cash the average American consumer has, will mostly go to paying off debt.

On top of that the average American consumer has huge personal debt levels and that is not being addressed by the politicians because they hope that the so called free market will solve all their problems over time. It was the free market that got America into the shit hole they are in now...and there has been done nothing to fix the problem or prevent that the problem will happen again!

As long as the American consumer would rather pay down debt (or forced to pay down debt) rather than consume, then the US economy will be in trouble.. and that is regardless if it is Obama or not in the White House, the Dems or Republicans controlling the Congress or if they cut taxes even more (they are pathetically low already)...

But most importantly... the clusterfuck called the US congress is the single biggest problem to economic growth, as they dont have the ability to agree on even what type of coffee they are having for their meetings, let alone fixing the US federal deficit and other important things. Unbridled ideology is basically ruining the US... and yes that is the Republicans mostly but also the Democrats.. it is time for them to grow a pair and work together to fix the economy... the Greeks could do it, so so can the US.
