Earthquake hits Japan

.... Too many humans. .....

Nonsense. There are not "too many humans," and events such as these happen somewhere on earth every day. There were storms and volcanoes, and earthquakes and shit long before we got here (partly how we got here!).
Lets do a strawman.

You have a large home. New washer, dryer, stove, fridge. Plumbing is good. Electrical works fine. Its you, your wife, maybe two kids. But then you move in your inlaws. And they bring their relatives. And those relatives have friends. Now your house is not so large any more, is it? And the electrical is being overloaded with things plugged in. The bathrooms are used a lot, so your plumbing is getting a work out. You are not on sewer..its a septic tank. Its getting full faster. Things start to not be so new any more. Then the friends, family, your kids...have kids. Now your house is packed to the rafters. Not much room. The walls are cracking from everyone wanting their own pictures hung. The flooring is starting to cave from all the feet trodding hither and yon. You can't stuff something and expect it not to blow or collapse.

Earth is the house. Its full. Over full, to be exact. Damage has been done. It will get worse.

That what's happens when you upset the natural balance with gay marriage and such.
Or shit at home instead of the woods like bears do. Too many humans. Too much pollution. Too many trees whacked down. Too much ozone. Too much of too much. Mama Earth is bucking. She's fed up.
Well, no. The entire rim of the Pacific is just one long tectonic plate seam. Mexico City probably shifted the stress to the other side and caused that to slip as well. I'd look for more to happen. Could be Alaska down to the tip of South America in the firing line now.

The earth is not a house. The analogy fails. We are nowhere near "over full."

You're missing my point. Whether the earth is over full or not, the resources it supplies is getting used up too fast. But, I guess you want to whack down more forests to make room for McD's cattle for their burgers. So..never mind.

No, they are not. We still have copious space and resources, and we are husbanding them more carefully than ever before.
