Early Voting affirmed in Ohio victory for Obama

Such mature and respectlful discussion from the Romney supporters. Makes those of us who don't like Romney dislike him even more, knowing these are the kinds of "people" he attracts and would represent. Bullies, regressives, smart alecks, etc. JUST like HIM!

Mature like your signature?

Decker, im from Cocoa Beach FL, or the "I-4 corridor" you hear about, dude, its heavy GOP. Always has been. A new population burst from the Latin communities are changing that but not yet. COmbined the fact south FL will be more or less for Obama, its going to be like 2000, watch out, we could have another supreme court Florida election.
I hope it not repeat of 2000. i have feeing might not be easy to get high turn out among Latin communities compared to 2008. ]

Just think gop are very organazed in getting their turnout in flordia. Unless obama get strong turn out like in 2008 i find it hard to see him winning in flordia.

i may be wrong and as you come from their you probally know more then me .

FL is GOP land, trust me. Im quite shocked Gore and Obama have done as well as they have.

Only true Democrat I work with ( I work for NASA) is from Ohio! so there you have it. The women of FL are a different story, so thats sort of a wild card.

Has Obama already won the election? Take nothing for granted but...

Barack Obama may have already won the presidential election. An NBC/WSJ/Marist poll out Thursday found that nearly 1 in 5 respondents have already cast ballots in Ohio, which began early voting last week. Obama is winning those early voters by a 63%-37% margin; among those who plan to vote on Election Day, Obama is leading, 48%-46%. Ohio is the most important state in presidential politics. It has voted for the winner in every election since 1964. It’s especially important for Mitt Romney. No Republican has ever won the presidency without winning Ohio. And considering that Obama has already locked up the electoral votes of California, New York and Illinois, and is leading in Pennsylvania and Michigan, Romney can’t get to 270 electoral votes without at least one industrial state. As The New York Times put it, “There are few credible paths to the White House for Mitt Romney without winning Ohio.”

...

If the poll is accurate, Romney is already in a deep hole in Ohio. If he does as well in the next two debates as he did last Thursday, he could win the state; but Obama has votes in the bank, so it’s much easier for him to protect his cushion than it is for Romney to overcome it. If Obama wins the next two debates, or even draws, Romney has no chance in Ohio.

While Romney is now ahead in some polls of Virginia and Florida, Obama’s margin in Ohio has not budged. It’s still six points, according to the NBC/WSJ/Marist poll. General Motors, Ford, Chrysler and Honda all build cars in Ohio, so Obama’s bailout of the auto industry, early in his presidency, built up a lot of good will in the state,

And yet RCP electoral may gives Obama 201 electoral votes, down from 251 four days ago, and Romney 191 electoral votes, up from 181 yesterday. Do you think they haven't heard about the early voting?

Well great to meet someone from nasa. I always from reading reports in uk got sense from bbc mark mardell reports that flordia is pretty much gop. Dems done very well even to be close last three elections and even win it once. I think gop will win the state to be honest as their turn out higher and from sound of it still more conservative place.

Ohio what obama must win to have a chance but he needs to win wiscosin and iowa as well and probally new hampshire to win.

your right and romney has more options as he can afford to not win ohio if he wins wiscosin, iwoa and new hampshire.

WI should be Obama's but as we have said, its close. Iowa, lord only knows, ill never figure that state out.

He got to win wi in my view as 10 votes is still a lot and without it means he have to win extra states to win. Iowa has gone both rep and dem in past. that could be on knifedge that state. But i think obama got to win all three of these and probally Nevada to. Will not be easy. but it his best route

Ohio Early Voting Affirmed In Win For Obama Campaign

and a victory for all voters. The GOP has tried to suppress voters by what ever means they can. Yes, they love to hold up the Constitution, until it doesn't help their cause.
Conservatives just hate voting by illegal immigrants and other illegal voting. Too bad the potus doesn't feel the same way, but him being a socialist doesn't surprise me.

Yeah, right.

But they sure as hell don't mind forcing us to pay for their health care at the emergency room.

Lame. Really really lame.

romney in the better place as he can afford not to win ohio and still maybe win election. I doubt obama can deep down as it looks like he too far behind now in polls to romney in swing states of Florida, Virginia co, and nc.

It's too close to call at this point, but so far Obama has greatly outspent Romney in swing states, even after allowing for spending from super pacs, and now Romney has ramped up his spending to equal or exceed Obama's, so I wouldn't be surprised if Romney won all four of those states. In fact, Pennsylvania and Michigan are now also in play despite the fact that Romney and the super pacs have stopped advertising in those states. If Obama cannot do something to stem Romney's current momentum, Romney may win this election with a significant margin in the electoral college.

i very much agree. the debates for me are obama only chance to stop romney big mo as they say . He has to win Pennsylvania and Michigan. they have been traditional locked in blue states and without them he has no chance and it be heavy loss.

For me he got to peform well in the debates and really go hard at midwest and ohio. But he needs a momentum change. Without one hard not to see for me long term anything other then mitt romney victory.

it might be still close but more poor debate peformances and romney will pull away in polls.

CRP has the Ohio spread at 1.7 for Obama.

Overall, Romney is still up.

Things ain't looking so good for the MIB (Obama/Biden...Morons In Black).

This simply isn't true.

1. Even when Romney has been in the lead in Ohio post-debate, he has never had more than a 1 point cushion.
2. Obama has led the last 3 Ohio polls, two of them being +4 & +5.

Romney's debate bounce has subsided in Ohio and the momentum is with Obama there.

The AZ poll showing Obama +2 yesterday is also good news.

well true but what worrys when i look at election map is even if obama wins ohio might not be enough unless he wins all four midwest states. romney can afford not to win ohio if he gets wisc, nh and iowa

I wouldn't worry about Wisconsin until Romney actually shows a lead in a poll there or Iowa until Romney shows more than one poll +1.

true but it still close state and he has vp in paul ryan who from their and a local governor in scott walker that have been in that state a lot of late.

So worries me that they be going after that big time. President must win those four states and maybe Nevada to be sure.

He behind in va,fi,co and nc and might not win iowa as behind their at mo . lot of pressure on him to win midwest to have a chance
