The IG report in many ways reminded me of Comey's testimony to Congress where he spelled out the criminal things that she did and then said he didn't see anything criminal to indict on. It's time for an investigation with subpoena powers into what the Obama Administration was doing leading up to that election and following it. It's obvious that they were using the IRS and the Justice Department against political opponents and lying to a FISA court judge to get warrants to spy on Trump. Their behavior goes so far beyond Richard Nixon's cover up of a two bit "plumbers" break in that it's not even funny.

Both Comey and the IG showed highlights and conclusions of extremely detailed investigations involving classified information from which they drew their conclusions. You, with only a fraction of the intel think you know something more than the investigators? It’s a joke. Really, who do you think you are fooling?

The OP's logic does not make sense. The child refugee crisis is a genuine real time drama and intrigue with fast moving changing news being reported by the hour, including remarks and statements by politicians, celebrities, professional health care experts, etc. The public is basically bored with investigative reports and become accustomed to them being political tools that end up being nothing burgers, i.e., endless Benghazi investigations (8 of them?) and endless Hillary Clinton investigations (30 years worth). You can only holler wolf so many times before the villagers stop believing you.
