Did I hear that right? Romney's Garage has a car elevator?

It is amazing how the concept of Private Property, and Private Property Rights, for both Rich and Poor, so much a part of Our Foundation, as a Nation, a Part of the Recognition of Unalienable Rights, of Individual Liberty, are blown away by a certain breed of Progressive. It is something very hard to remain civil over.

So does he have an elevator for his cars in his garage or not?

Geesh, you're the one who started the thread about it, you think you could bother to come up with the story yourself or something...........?

The Romney campaign responded to criticism from a new report that claimed the Republican hopeful owned a “car elevator” arguing it was “simply a mechanism for storing cars in tight spaces.”

Ben LaBolt, spokesman for the Obama campaign slammed the former Massachusetts Governor’s car-lifting contraption in an email to The New York Times...

Politico’s Reid J. Epstein detailed Romney’s property as having a “a split-level, four-vehicle garage that comes with a ‘car lift’ to transport automobiles between floors.”

More important than Romney's car elevator is the $40K he had in stocks that he used to pay for college. In today's dollars that's over $300,000. Did any of you have $300,000 in your bank when you went off to college? And if you did, would you have the nerve to tell stories about how you struggled? Well that is what Ann Romney did. And did that dumb bitch ever get her degree? She talked about studying and paying for babysitters when she went to class but it sounds like only Mitt got a degree.

Yes sillydogdoo, that "dumb bitch" got her degree. Why are you so Jealous???

She completed her undergraduate education through the Extension School at Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in 1975.

You can get one for about 10,000. Not too bad. In ground swimming pools cost more though, about 20,000 on average, and more people have them. My next door neighbor has a custom built pool that he bought for 27,000. He's pulling in about 100k a year salary. So not really that big a deal.

I agree sort of. It's about as 1% as you can get though; wouldn't you agree?

Even if it were, so what?

Why do people attack rich people running for President. Is Obama poor? does he really have the issues we face? I mean come on, this is rediculous. All I have to say is Mitt has less money than Kerry and Kerry tries to avoid $12,000 in taxes on his new boat, what a cheapskate and of course we need to raise taxes because people like him dont pay them, right comrades?
