DeSantis dropping out?

The same goes for Haley, this thing is done as it should be.

Welcome Back, Trumper

If that is directed at me, I am a Democrat. I know enough about the writings of Karl Marx to believe that he had two valid insights, and that he was mistaken about everything else.

My knowledge of Marx includes writings of his I studied in college, The Communist Manifesto, which I have read on several occasions, and a fascinating seminar on Das Kapital I took given by the American Communist Party.

I already owned most of the books on the reading list, including all three volumes of Das Kapital, printed in Moscow, by Progress Publishers.

I have known and liked members of the C.P.U.S.A. We disagreed more often than not, but we disagreed while remaining agreeable.
Thanks for the democrat declaration of loyalty to communism.

A Communist is one who thinks Karl Marx was right about everything. I explained that I do not.

His most serious mistake was to assume that loyalties of class are stronger than loyalties of race, nation, and ethnicity. For most people most the time the opposite is true. He also claimed an inevitable progression from primitive communism - he meant a Paleolithic or Neolithic way of life - to slavery, to feudalism, to capitalism. He predicted a natural progression from capitalism to socialism to a classless society.

The revival of slavery in North and South America should have taught him that there is nothing inevitable about the transition from one economic system to another. Feudalism is what happens when an urban civilization collapses. In much of the world feudalism has never existed, because there is nothing inevitable about the collapse of a civilization.

Dialectical Materialism is a kind of secular deity that cause things to work out as Marx wanted them to. There is no truth to Dialectical Materialism at all.

He needs better advisors. This was a mistake from the beginning.

He could have stayed out of this, backed up Trump, and he would have been the clear front-runner in 2028.

Instead, DeSanctimonious damaged his reputation by doing the impossible task of running against Trump without trying to alienate the Trump base.

DeSantis has a tragic tale indeed as I had such expectations for him. If he had run in 2028 though he probably would have won by a landslide.

That is no reason Legally ( Which is what I was gettin at )

True, he isn't married to the job. I guess he could quit and go to work for Trump, but Florida would miss him.

Umm that's debatable since a lot of people in Florida have turned on him now.
