Can the right generate enough fear over Egypt to re-energize their base?

Although you stumbled into it like a drunken frat boy, you're actually quite right.

Damned right I'm right

Muslims have been planning to take over the world for a thousand years. Now that they finally have one of their own as President of the US....the door is wide open for them

Only Glenn Beck can stop it

Now you're just being stupid. It's possible to have a healthy distrust of Islam given their stated goals without thinking Obama is a Muslim. And WTF does Glenn Beck have to do with any of this?

Stop being such an infantile douche.

WTF does Glenn Beck have to do with this?

Glenn is the only person on earth who understands the interrelationship between the riots in Egypt, the Tea Party, a Muslim Caliphate, Obamacare, the Federal Reserve, Gay Marriage, WMDs, George Soros and ACORN

You just have to connect the dots

Terrorist threat may be at most 'heightened state' since 9/11, Napolitano says

The terrorist threat to the United States may be at its most "heightened state" since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and al-Qaeda and its affiliates are placing increased emphasis on recruiting Americans and other Westerners to carry out attacks, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said at a congressional hearing Wednesday.

seems USC completely ignored this as it undermines his OP

It does not matter what The ConJobs, Repugs and Teabaggers have to say. It doe not matter what beckie says. It does not matter what handjob says. It does not matter what lamebrain says.

The Revolution in Egypt is soley and completely under the control of the People of Egypt. This was a Peaceful Uprising, the only violence we saw from the thugs sent into to Liberty Square the Dictator Murbarek.

What the ConJobs, Repugs and Teabaggers need to remember that Democracy IS THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE...NOT THE WILL OF THE GOVERNMENT. Murbarek learned the hard way that an Autocratic Dictatorship should fear the People, not the other way around.

Every Con out there is trying to gen up fear over the Muslim Brotherhood, a very small minority party. OMG.....MUSLIMS....BROTHERS.....OMMFG!!!! Get over it.

The United States has no right, or purpose of right in telling or attempting tell, by direct or indirect means, the People of Egypt what poltiical parties, what political organizations, what political beliefs or what person and/or persons can run for office or if elected assume office.

Obama did not support Muslim Terrorists in Egypt. What he did was decide (and according to McChinless, St. John of Orange and others) not to interfer or push an agenda that would have in the end cost the U.S. alot more than just prestige.

Stop with the wringing of hand and the rending of garments.

The sun will rise, water is wet and the only People who have a right to determine the future of Egypt are the Egyptian People.

In Egypt, religion continues to be an important part of our culture and heritage. Moving forward, we envision the establishment of a democratic, civil state that draws on universal measures of freedom and justice, which are central Islamic values. We embrace democracy not as a foreign concept that must be reconciled with tradition, but as a set of principles and objectives that are inherently compatible with and reinforce Islamic tenets.

Now what are the Islamic tenets? After further review I found this

C. BOOKS (SCRIPTURES)...
1. "One of the central doctrines of Islamic faith is belief in all
of God's revealed messages, which now consist of four books:
Torah, Psalms, Gospels, and Qur'an."
2. "These four Books are to be regarded as Holy Scriptures, even
though the three Books preceding the Qur'an include certain
human imperfections."
3. "With the appearance of the Qur'an, the noblest of the Books,
these earlier Books, it is believed, were abrogated."
4. "...it is an article of faith that the purpose of the Qur'an is
to preserve original divine revelations by restoring the
eternal truth of God." (Qur'an 5:44-48)
5. "Since the Qur'an abrogates all earlier Books, its ordinances
continue to remain in force until the Day of Judgment..."

The Religion Of Islam - The Tenets Of Islam

After looking where they get there ordinances I found this

Some Statutes And Penalties Of Islamic Law

The Penalty Of The Thief

Some Ordinances and Laws of the Qur’an and Islam
Thousands of women, who have claimed to be rape-victims, are now languishing in jail or have their lives ruined even after being acquitted, due to trying them under zina bil Jabr of Hudood Laws. [Jahangir and Jilani, chapters III-IV] "No distinction has been made between Zina and Zina Bil Jabr (rape), resulting in it becoming an instrument of exploitation and oppression." [Niaz, 2001]

Not such a great idea for the PC people is it? The protest are just a remake of Iran 1978

Interesting factoid regarding the "Brotherhood":

Since then the Muslim Brotherhood has created 70 offshoot Islamic organizations across the world, including Al-Qaeda and Hamas. The second-in-command in Al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri, was a Muslim Brotherhood leader imprisoned in Egypt by the government and later sent into exile. Other notable members include the infamous Osama bin Laden, and Mohamed Atta, his ringleader in the September 11, 2001, attacks.

People need to wake up. These creeps garner more power in Egypt?

Is this for real?

From Libertarian Today,,,,,,,

Not terrorists: Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood being misconstrued by liberal Western media

All of a sudden, middle-aged American men in suits who couldn't find their way, unaided, from Cairo's Ramses Station down Talaat Harb to Midan Tahrir, are posing as experts, appearing on U.S. television to insinuate that the Muslim Brotherhood is violent and extremist.

Fortunately, the Brothers have an English-language website. Scroll down it to the lower left and you will see the feature: "MB vs. Qaeda." This segment is one more sign of the organization's decades-long commitment to nonviolence, even though over the years the Mubarak regime has arrested and tortured thousands of its members.

One current post notes happily, "Al-Qaeda losing supporters in jihadi groups across the Arab world." There's also an open lettter that starts off, "Dear 'Muslim' Terrorist." "Sister Jannah" pointedly asks jihadists who planned attacks on civilians, "But did you even bother to ask a single real scholar of Islam? Like the hundreds and thousands of mainstream Islamic scholars out there. -- Guess what they say -- That killing innocent people is Haram."

I truly believe some on the left today is losing their minds.

Can the right generate enough fear over Egypt to re-energize their base?

Mubarak handed over the reins of power to the Egyptian military - not exactly a group known for its "left-wing" sympathizers!

Next to Israel, Egypt is the 2nd largest recipient of US foreign aid - its no secret that the Mubarak regime received $billions annually to maintain peaceful relations with the Israelies.

The problem stems from how much of that money was used to prop up an unpopular dictator, and how little actually filtered its way down to improve the lives of the average Egyptian citizen?

Apparently not enough!
