In the end, it DOESNT MATTER.I'm asking this question because atheists on here repeatedly use the excuse that since they don't believe in the Bible that they just jump to the conclusion that people are either born gay or straight especially since being gay has its hardships.
So far, I don't see any arguments in the world of science proving this one way or the other. Am I missing something? Btw, this isn't meant to be a gay bashing thread, so please don't make it one. Just looking for answers here to this ages old debate about a possible gay gene.
I can only speak on my own experience.
I have a gay nephew that pretty much everyone knew was going to be gay by 3 or 4 years old.
And sure enough, he is gay. And always was. Never had a girlfriend. He is 36 now.
Also... a boy of one of the fellas at the office... all of us knew the kid is gay except the dad.
It was very evident when he was in grade school.
Sure enough... he came out about a year ago. He is now a senior in high school.

What gene was discovered?Yes, science has already proven that some people are born gay. Some of those are born intersexual.
There is no science other than data, but regardless of the culture and religious beliefs in any particular era, we know that homosexuality or at least homosexual behavior dates at least back to Biblical times. And my own experience with gay friends and family is that they did not choose to be gay. EVERYONE has a cross to bear -- something they struggle with -- for some, it is homosexuality. Or others, it is porn. For others, it is pedophilia. For still others, it is gambling or even the thrill of shoplifting or even MURDER.
God's answer is the same for EVERYONE. "DONT DO IT."

No there is no gay gene so we can assume being gay is an anomaly rather than the way people are intended to be. Human beings, like all other two gender species, is intended to reproduce itself whether or not that is allowed or wanted or even possible for all. Gay sex will not reproduce anything. Nevertheless other human anomalies also exist with no scientific explanation available. It is not evil or even all that unusual. It's just the way it is and we might as well accept it because we're not going to change it without doing serious harm to people who do not deserve that harm. Some of my gay friends are among my favorite people on Earth.So no gay gene?

I raised a boy and a girl. Both are heterosexual.
There are significant differences in the sexes beginning VERY early. I am talking by 1 years old.
This child acted like a girl in every way when he was very little, and never stopped acting like a girl... and to this day is still effeminate.
