California Minimum-Wage Earners Work 19 Hours-A-Day, 7 Days-A-Week To Afford Rent

The small business owners work 20 hours a day and 7 days a week to keep their businesses running. Forcing them to pay workers more would put them out of business and everybody would be on the street. Is that what the radical left wants?

Well fuck, if you have to work 140 hours a week to keep your business going you suck as a business owner.

20 hour days are hardly normal, but a few a month are hardly uncommon when running a small business.
That's what the left don't get, to run a business takes a lot of hard work and loads of risk.
That's why the unions should have no say in the business, and why the workers deserve only what they can add to the company, not expecting a high salary for next to nothing.

Without the workers, there wouldn't be a company.

Workers give their time, and get paid for that time.
The people who create compamies invest cash and a lot of time before they see any money back.
Tell me - would you risk all your money on a project with no guarantee of success, work crazy hour for a couple of years to try to get it running properly, hardly taking anything back until the company became profitable?

As a worker, would you give all your money to the boss and work double shifts for a year, paid less than minimum wage?

I don't think so, so you don't deserve anything more than simple wages.

The definition of poverty, or even not being very well off varies - a lot.
In America, that seems to mean having an older car or quite a small TV, and not being able to party every night.
This would mean you have no fucking clue, so should get an education before you moan.
