For the interested reader, all cars, except in the US south and maybe China, are made in unions. Check it out sometime.

yes dear, and if we check it out we find that the union wages are far lower than the liberal Detroit union wages that shipped 30 million jobs off shore!! Do you understand now?

And concerning quality our Buicks are rated tops. Even our Pontiacs which were given to family and friends are still on the road.

using actual date Consumer Reports has determined for decades that Ford and GM are crap compared to Japan, for example. Obviously if this was not true Ford and GM would have sued Consumer Reports and won decades ago!

Still over your head?

See why we say liberalism is based in pure ignorance?

"In 2010, Germany produced more than 5.5 million automobiles; the U.S produced 2.7 million. At the same time, the average auto worker in Germany made $67.14 per hour in salary in benefits; the average one in the U.S. made $33.77 per hour. Yet Germany’s big three car companies—BMW, Daimler (Mercedes-Benz ), and Volkswagen—are very profitable.

1) BWM Mercedes Audi Porsche are luxury brands that sell well even at super high profit levels. This is pure luck because their cars are no more reliable than any others

2) BMW's largest plant in world is in South Carolina where workers make $15/hr, not $64/hr. Now you see why they make few in Germany at $64/hr/

Isn't learning fun?

At one time a single wage earner could buy a house, car and send kids to college. In 1969 one could buy a decent house in CA for under $30,000.

two main causes:

1) inflation ( not necessarily harmful)
2) liberal govt waste on the nanny state

Inflation is commonly caused by greedy "workers", demanding more money for less work.
Their unearned pay rises has to be be paid for in the form of higher prices.
Then, consider this, the highly paid workers are too expensive, so the bosses are forced to set up overseas factories in order to compete in the market place.
Jobs lost.

As for socialist governments, they would be a bad joke if they didn't always totally shag the economy.
I recall all the Labour government disasters in the UK. They managed to get elected, spent as much as possible, naffed up the country, and the next Tory government had to stop us going bust - whilst the idiot socialists demanded socialist policies from the Tories.

What a bunch of morons. Pity Thatcher didn't have them all shot.

The small business owners work 20 hours a day and 7 days a week to keep their businesses running. Forcing them to pay workers more would put them out of business and everybody would be on the street. Is that what the radical left wants?

Well fuck, if you have to work 140 hours a week to keep your business going you suck as a business owner.

20 hour days are hardly normal, but a few a month are hardly uncommon when running a small business.
That's what the left don't get, to run a business takes a lot of hard work and loads of risk.
That's why the unions should have no say in the business, and why the workers deserve only what they can add to the company, not expecting a high salary for next to nothing.

Without the workers, there wouldn't be a company.

This shouldn't be news to anybody. If you know the Hispanic community there, it explains why multiple families share the same abode and all adults work their tails off just to survive.

I got this from Zero Hedge with a link to this @ 28.25 the minimum wage D.C. would need to support a modest 2-bedroom - The Washington Post

If you have a family and you're making min wage you should be shot.

Unless you plan on doing the work of a dozen people, you don't have a company/

Would a fast food giant like McDonalds still be open for business if the original business owner did all the work himself?

the liberal argument is that since you cant have a corporation without janitors to clean up the janitors deserve equal pay to the CEO.

This is why one MUST go out and get post high school education and or training. There is no other way today. One must acquire skills to use against his employer

I am an employer in Los Angeles. Our labor market is fucked.

We start our general labor out at $12.50 an hour ($100/day) and if they stay with us a year they make over $23.50 an hour. We still have a hard time keeping staff.

Tell you what - if the janitor goes through uni, works crazy hour per week and makes million dollar calls every day, he can have it.
Until then, he should get on with mopping the fucking floor, regretting all the time he wasted at school when he should have been working.

the janitor would be unemployed, earning shit all.
The lower orders should be thankful for their jobs.

No, but if the first people didn't take risks, invest their money and create the company, burger flippers would have nothing.
