Borders certainly do matter for without them humanity would long ago have expired. Could one imagine owning a plot of land with no legally defined borders??? Attempting to live in a dwelling you purchased with no legally defined borders to it??? Legally defined borders comes under the heading of "Sanctity Of Life" as there can be no dignity to human life within an existing social structure without legally defined borders.
