BOMBSHELL: US Forces Would Not Have Been Painting Targets on Ground Unless Air Support Overhead

Having spent a good bit of time nursing a GLD (ground Laser Designator) in several garden spots around the world, something from the report jumped out at me.

One of the former SEALs was actively painting the target. That means that Specter WAS ON STATION! Probably an AC130U. A ground laser designator is not a briefing pointer laser. You do not “paint” a target until the weapons system/designator is synched; which means that the AC130 was on station.

Only two places could have called off the attack at that point; the WH situation command (based on POTUS direction) or AFRICOM commander based on information directly from the target area.

If the AC130 never left Sigonella (as Penetta says) that means that the Predator that was filming the whole thing was armed.

If that SEAL was actively “painting” a target; something was on station to engage! And the decision to stand down goes directly to POTUS!

This is HUGE. It should be obvious by now that someone is not telling the truth.

The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights.

So there were two drones in the air recording the attack on the ground. And now we know the CIA team at the annex was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. The White House was able to watch the attack live back in Washington DC. Yet, yesterday Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said this,

“The U.S. military did not get involved during the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, last month because officials did not have enough information about what was going on before the attack was over.”

Yeah...someone totally fucked up.

You are exactly right to point the finger at our nations biggest failure...the no longer Free Press!

Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Our Press was provided for in the Constitution a special freedom in order that they would be free from bias and thereby offer a protection to the citizens of this country. They have failed miserably in their calling. There is ample evidence of their liberal bias. They are all gun-ho to go after any conservative- some of it valid, some of it faux
hysteria and some of it out right smear... Yet they are loathe to treat liberals, especially Obama, with the same resolve and fierceness.

They are likewise quick to brand conservatives like the TEA Party in a negative way and yet loathe to do the same to the Occupiers. They are quick to call conservatives racist and yet laugh and mock and encourage attacks of black conservatives... the hypocrisy and double standard is not merely despicable it is traitorous to their calling and the privileges it offers.

Politicians of all persuasions are susceptible to corrupting influences. That is why our Press need to be unbiased in their hard news reporting. I am not saying opinion is not valid. But opinion needs to be left on the 4th page in the editorial section. The only way to get our political landscape back to anything resembling healthy, is to hold our Press to account... THAT is really the road to political recovery in this country- the only way to soothe the partisan monster that represents the political landscape today.

The problem is that the majority of the masses have been numbed to their bias. Like the proverbial frog brought to boil slowly they have become victims who awake to the danger too late if at all. We are no longer free to think and have our own personal beliefs and biases for fear of being branded. We are being marginalized as extremists if we don't share in liberal group think- even though the far left represent only a small percentage of the population, that percentage also includes the media. A media that have the influential power over the information being dispensed. WE need to wake up the masses by being relentless in our criticism and accusations of the media.

That is why they not only refused extra Security, but were actually removing Security. They did not want the Fact that since the Fall of Gaddafi things have gone down hill in Libya, or the idea that Al Qaeda is on the rise across North Africa, to come out. At least not before the election.

My understanding was that a guy on the roof of an adjacent (or nearby) CIA operations building using a laser did the "painting."

So, apparently there need not have been air cover nearby.

But that only still makes the Administration account for why nothing was done. It could have been.

And why is the President personally DUCKING all questions?

This is a major ELECTION story since his refusal to account for his own decision making shows not just tht he knows he has something to hide, but it underscores why the people cannot trust him. He SHOULD be denied re-election.

He is a horror show.

If he had ANY integrity, he'd politely resign and urge the American people to vote in Mitt.
