Bing answers CO2 question

A consensus which contains you is obviously of no value. Besides, other than the usual retard lib suspects, you don’t speak for anyone anyway. Certainly nobody of value.
That’s your opinion. Ours is based upon evidence. Your post are that of a science illiterate.

I’ve never been able to find, and the entire AGWCult has never been able to post, not one time, an experiment that controls for CO2 and shows the assumed temperature increase. Mythbusters attempted to, but had to crank up CO2 to 7%, far in excess of the current .04% AND they increased both atmospheric pressure AND added some absurd amount of water vapor to get the temperature needle to move. Fake. Fraud.

Not true.
The Mythbusters experiment used boxes sitting on plywood tables, so there was no increased pressure.
They also added no water vapor.
They also did not properly insulate as the earth in a vacuum is absolutely insulated.
So a planet would get even hotter than their little greenhouse boxes.

One point that needs explaining is why water vapor is not the problem even though it retains heat 17 times more than CO2?

And the explanation for that is that heat retained by gases at sea level does not at all matter.
It ONLY matters at the fringe of space, in the upper atmosphere.
And it is so cold there that there is essentially no water vapor.
It all condenses out.
So only CO2 matters.
It is what prevents infrared radiation of heat back out into space.
It converts infrared radiation into vibratory heat, which can not conduct in the vacuum of space.

The melted ice wasn't water vapor? Really?

So that's why the troposphere is so hot? Does the troposphere heat the deep ocean?

A true greenhouse? Hahaha

Earth is "insulated"? Really?

Sent message. Assume that we find an Earth like exoplanet orbiting a Sun like star in the goldilocks zone of habitability. The Atmosphere is comparable to Earth, 80% nitrogen 19% oxygen, traces of water vapor, argon and 250 parts per million of CO2. Assuming that CO2 increases by 1 PPM a year what experiments can we conduct in an Earth lab to measure the effect the extra CO2would have on temperature of the exoplanet

See the HITRAN database list of sources, which quantify the spectral absorption characteristics of CO2. That's all that's needed to run the necessary models. Those experiments have already been run over and over, so no new experiments are needed.

The "warming a box" experiments, like the one successfully done on mythbusters, only tell us that CO2 is a greenhouse gas. They can't be extrapolated to planet level, because a box is not like a planet.

The Mythbusters was a fraud. At one point in the "Mythbuster" CO2 experiment they show a 7% CO2 atmosphere, further they have a giant block of melting ice in the "CO2 experiment". When ice melts it transitions into water vapor a far more powerful GHG than CO2.

But you knew that, right?

It’s the CO2 that causes temps to rise which increases water vapor in atmosphere. You have the cart before the horse. CO2 is the mechanism that increases water vapor which in turn increases the green house effect even more.

I thought the heat lamps melted the ice? If the ambient temperature with no heat lamp was 31F, are you saying that CO2 would use its telepathic power to cause the ice to melt?

Show a test with co2 melting ice.

Dry ice is co2
