Big Bain Backfire

Do you actually think the better posters are going to click and read your link to 'alternet.org'?

LOL

And why are you ducking the question I have posed to you?

Do 'vulture' capitalists pump $100 million of modernization into a steel factory and hang on to it for 8 years, even thru bankruptcy - or not?

pussy.

Whats funny is you think your one of the "better" posters. LOL.

You pissants have yet to answer his question though ?

Answer G's question.

We have given up on you posting anything of value on the topic, Vidi.

You are strictly junior varsity.

If you are going to continue to post, at least try to be amusing.

If any of your posts are what you consider a "value" post, then I take your misplaced insult as a compliment.

I figure Mitt isn't gonna break out the big guns till Obama decides whether or not to keep Biden.

Once he's decided Mitt is gonna open up on him. This only makes Obama look petty........

I'm pretty sure that Mr Biden will not be on the ticket this time around.
I'm thinking Mr Biden will want to be "spending more time with his family", or something like that.

My guess it will be 'health reasons.'

Like chronic foot in mouth disease, maybe?

Would Bain have made more money in the beginning or after 8 Years? How much did Bain make on the deal?

Venture capitalists do, but corporate raiders do not.

This was clearly not a raid.

Don't expect Lak-an-i-hota of brains to answer. He is probably still looking up the term in a dictionary (and holding it upside down).

Borrow money to buy a company, buy compnay, place the debt for the borrowed money onto the company you just bought, fire workers or move the jobs out of America, then decalre bankruptcy so the goverment steps in with tax payer money to bail out the pension funded to the tune of 44 million dollars, you make 12 million.

Hmmmm...Sounds more like socialism to me.

No.

Buy controlling interest in company for next to nothing (there is a hint there). This includes a grossly underfunded pension which you are not responsible for.

Company has 18 to 24 months to live.

Borrow 100 million and pump it up.

Company lives for eight years. Does reasonable for a while.

Market goes soft

Company goes bankrupt. Workers lose jobs they were going to lose anyway.

About the same time you buy into this one, you help out a place in Indiana for about the same amount. In 2000, you sell your share for roughly 7 times what you paid in.

Liberals need an excuse to piss and moan because current sitting moron in chief has no record to run on (unless you call record debt something of an accomplishement).

Keep trying, I am enjoying this.

Are you a stoner or something?

LOL

Any post at all of you attacking Gingrich for his attacks on Romney at Bain.

What does the subject have to do with me, stoner?

Gingrich paid a serious price for his attack on free enterprise. As I demonstrated to you with several links, such an attack was anathema to conservatism. Read them. Learn.

Now, put some ice on that sore sphincter of yours because invariably, it will be ripped open again the next time you tangle without have the slightest clue of which you speak.

LOL

So you have none. You did not utter a word against Gingrich or call him a Marxist for his attacks on Romney at Bain.

I did.

I bet you didn't utter a word against Gingrich for lying about telling the GSEs that what they were doing was insane.

I did.

I understand. You are not capable of an orignal thought and can only start topics based on stuff other people say. You just parrot things smarter people than you say. You are a follower.

Once it is cool to fall in with the crowd, then you come out from your hidey hole and join in.

And now that it is cool to back Romney, you fall in with the Romney crowd. And you will parrot whatever the party line is, without questioning it. At all. You'll be out there banging the Romney drum with the best of them henceforth.

We are all supposed to pretend that it wasn't "anyone but Romney" just a few short weeks ago.

Gingrich didn't work out? Let's try on Santorum! Anyone but Romney!

But look at you now. Chuffing down yards of Romney's cock from here to November. Woo hoo!

From here on out for people like you, Romney can do no wrong. No lie about Obama will be too big, no exaggeration about Romney's deeds will be too great. The ends justify the means.

I understand your kind all too well.

Maybe someday you will find some courage and attack lies from any direction, even when it is not cool to do so. Even when it carries the risk of being mistaken for a liberal or a Democrat for calling someone on their lies and bullshit.

Maybe. But I doubt it. You not only tolerate lies, you not only repeat them, you make up some of your own when it suits you.

This kind of cowardice does not serve the GOP well. It is destroying it from within.

So high five yourself for starting a topic telling us how wrong it is to attack Romney at Bain.

But you are several months late, Etch-A-Sketch.

Are you looking to be a bigger moron than you already are ?

Bain made about 13 million on the deal....about 5 of that in fees. A paltry 8 million dollars for eight years work. At the same time they took a minority share in Steel Dynamics which they would later sell for about 105 million (about an 16 million dollar investment).

Steel Dynamics still sings Bains praises.

You bastards just can't let go.

So you have none.

It isn't about me, snookums.

Your boneheaded take was that Gingrich did not take a beating for his attacks on Bain's venture capitalism.

I corrected you, and that made your sphincter ache.

Lean Forward - Booker to Maddow: 'I'm very upset that I'm being used by the GOP'

Cory Booker went on The Rachel Maddow Show Monday to continue his damage control efforts.

As you've no doubt heard, the Newark mayor went on NBC's Meet the Press Sunday and described as "nauseating" the Obama campaign's attacks on Bain Capital -- the private equity firm Mitt Romney ran -- for its record of laying off workers at the companies it acquired. Booker later tried to walk the comments back, but the Romney campaign and its allies pounced on them in an effort to undermine the Obama camp's attack.

If you think what Bain Capital did to that steel company in Kansas City is venture capitalism, you need to go back to school.

strike one, cheesedick.

'The attack ad blamed Romney and his investment firm for the failure of GST Steel, a Kansas City, Mo.-based company, two years after Romney had left Bain. It also ignored Bain successes such as Steel Dynamics Inc., where Bain's involvement helped create 6,000 jobs.'

So youre saying if a bomber blows up a school with a bunch of kids in it, thats ok as long as they build another one.

Gotcha.

That bares no resemblance to what he said, moron.

Youve chosen another idiot who has been bailed out repeatedly and called it success because he was able to get paid with taxpayer money. Still a brainwashed socialist are you?

When did Romney get bailed out?

Why don't you tells us on when they would have made more money. What is for sure is that they were betting on GTS doing well...not going under. Taking their money out was getting some money back. Their goal was to sell it...to do that it had to be healthy and doing well.

You bastards just won't let go.

BTW: It cost the taxpayers no more than it was going to cost them had Bain not showed up. In fact, it might have been less. What part of that don't you understand.

The WSJ article on this posted upstream points out GTS would have gone tits up LONG before it did had Bain not tried to save it.
