Listen it was bad enough that when I grew up pornography was hard to find and pretty tame, now they want to ban it, its time the American male stood up and shouted, 'we ain't gonna take it no more,' this is just too much, what full blooded man has not grown up with dirty books and illegal drink. Life will cease to exist, hiding from mom will be no more, the web will be faster, and the confessional will be even more boring......

I didn't see the footnotes, I'll admit. If she was just referring to child pornography then I was incorrect in my OP.

That being said, the vow was written pretty poorly then. I read it originally as women and the future generation of this country later on, not today. Because why mention women and banning all forms of pornography in the same sentence if you mean to ban only child pornography?

But again, if the pledge refers to just child pornography, then I was incorrect in posting my OP and was wrong.

And sends tens of thousands more conservative Republicans away from that.

Yes, I also read the original vow. Are you ignoring what I said on purpose?

It's not just kids that are being mentioned in the same sentence as banning all forms of pornography, it's women as well. Hence why it can be taken as saying they want to ban more than child pornography. They should have split it into two sentences, one about their stances toward protection of women and then one for children.
