Actually VaYank, you and I have debated many times in the past. And whereas you understand my position, I understand yours. And you have many times come across hypocritical to me just as I have to you.

It was not just referring to any post in particular of yours....it is referring to the overall demeanor of you , me, and all posters on this board.

But I can say of me...I have been criticizing the hypocrisy of both sides since the day I started on this board....and I know that you know this to be fact.

I have not seen the hypocrisy you speak of from the left, and therefore cannot recall calling anyone out. However, for my part, I have (on this board), called out Obama and the Demcoratic party when they have done things that have gone against what they said they would do. I believe this keeps me in the middle, which is where I prefer to be.

I respect your belief that you are in the middle. But the fact that you have not seen the hypcorisy on the left gives me reason to believe you may not be completely aware of exactly where you are as it pertains to debates.

Me? I am a conservative. Far right if you will. Yet I will call out the right when they are hypocritical as quickly as I will call out the left. I see it on both sides. I will never refer to a left politician as an idiot, a fool, etc...and I will support left politician when I deem it appropriate.

I supported Rangel after the witchhunt...I supported Obama many times making it clear I do not agree with his ideology, but much appreciate his more recent leadership...I made it clear that I do not see Boehner worthy of the speaker position....

So I am in the middle as it pertains to debate.

But I am still a far right thinker.

And they gave us the Cap and Trade bill. And Obamination of Obamacare.

What they are saying now is "The world is real. Obama has the power of the veto, and the Senate is still full of villans." that is hardly a lie. It is just facing reality. Something you seem to have an aversion to.

So.....where was this "facing of reality" when they were pandering to the weak minded to get elected?

The same could be asked when the MSM and the left were pandering to the weak-minded to get your pal Obama elected.

They said these were their objectives. If you want to get anywhere you have plans and goals.

However, the best laid plans of mice and men go aft agly. You can plan what you want to do, but if you don't take the Senate, then while yo may still have the same objectives, the plan has to change.

And There was always the reality that Obama will be there till Jan 20,2013. A Sunday.

Every elector should know the constitutional abilities of our elected representatives. The voters know more than you do, and they know more than you give them credit for.

The Voters of Vermont elect Bernie Sanders, a socialist. Are they upset that the banks aren't nationalized now that he has been in office 8 years now?

The constitution was written to prevent wild and exorbitant swings in policy. You learn this in 4th grade. Maybe you weren't paying attention that year. But the rest of us do know this.

So chill a little. The voters voted for what could be achieved given circumstances of the electoral process here. If that is surprising for you, then you seem to be the one with a bounced reality check.

The man broke at least one promise as soon as he won the primary, if not before. The only reason I personally keep pointing this out is people like you refuse to admit he is a typical politician. That does not make my comments about Republicans doing the same thing a defense, it is simply absolute apathy that anyone is trying to make politicians lying into news. The fact that you harp on one party's lies, and ignore the other party doing the same thing, makes you exactly the type of person you are attempting to attack in your OP.

Pelosi promised ethical, open government and lied. It's all around and we'd be better off if both sides held their own side accountable before the other rather then holding the other side accountable and giving their own a pass. What I've found in life is to point my finger at the mirror until I have no reason to, then point my finger at others. This isn't self-loathing or anything, it's personal accountability. I've also found it's easier for me to fix my errors from within than try to make others fix their errors on my command.
