First, they have taken over secular science and systematically eliminated God as creator and origin of the universe and everything in it. They claim that all of it happened naturally when space and time cannot start by itself. They believe in false science and are delusional, but have convinced others to follow their thinking and path. Yet, they cannot explain how spacetime, the universe, Earth and life started without contradictions. They think DNA popped up by itself. They think the universe popped up from invisible particles. They can't explain Earth's habitability, so think multiverses exist so Earth is mediocre and not special. They claim "mountains of evidence" and their science is fact when we can't see it, test it nor falsify it. You might know some people on this board that fits this description. They want evidence of the truth and when they get it, they deny it or do not believe it. They end believing in false teachers like Neil DeGrasse Tyson or Bill Nye. How far should their delusions be allowed?

Be allowed ? That Genie got out of the bottle sometime ago. Not sure how it get's put back in unless God himself intervenes soon. Without a full revamp of the educational system within this country (the one that was highjacked by the 60's hippies), there won't be no coming back from the delusional state this nation has been placed into after the highjackjng took place.

    “Ray Comfort”

    lol

Christian con man and evangelical charlatan.

The thread fails as a strawman fallacy, a loaded question fallacy, and an appeal to ignorance fallacy – a premise predicated on nothing but lies.

How far should their delusions be allowed? What do you propose to do? Ban science? Require religious beliefs?

Science has replaced fear and superstition with explanations for events that occur in the natural world.

The planet is not flat. The planet is billions of years old. Planet earth does not revolve around the sun. Humans wearing buckskin outfits did not frolic with dinosaurs despite what Ken Ham has lead you to believe.

Don’t be an accomplice to fear and superstition.

First of all, atheists nor scientists have eliminated God from anything. They may have eliminated the nonsensical stories that you enjoy. But God, if he exists, could be the architect of the Big Bang just as easily as that story in Genesis. It is YOU who have limited God to what you WANT him to be.

But as for the title of this thread......

One group explores our world using scientific methods and puts together the best theories based on that work (and the work of others).

One group believes an invisible being is responsible for everything, despite having no physical evidence of the beings existence. This group complains that the other group is ruining their all powerful being by using the scientific methods. Not because they disprove God. But because the spoil the stories of an old, oft edited & translated book, that is based on stories handed down generation after generation by a semi-nomadic tribe of herders.

And you think the scientists are the delusional ones? lol Okey Dokey.

When the radical American Left removes God from the minds of the young, along with all ancient foundations or Right and Wrong, they can replace that "God space" with anything they choose, up to and including the belief its normal and fine to murder children.
