A favorite tactic of the left is to show some "Republican" criticizing conservatives today for what they're doing. Two people on this board who exemplify this type of "Republican" are Jake Starkey and Matthew. I'm sure they're decent people, but they sure aren't conservatives/Republicans.

Newsflash: You're not a "conservative" in any sense of the word if you:
-Support Obamacare, which federalizes healthcare and raises taxes
-Support a carbon tax/the EPA's overreach
-Oppose a balanced budget amendment
-Oppose a federal spending cap.
-Oppose the sequester spending cuts.

Charlie Crist, Andrew Sullivan, etc. all support these things above.

If you support more government overreach, you're just not a conservative!

Wolves in sheep's clothing! It's the natural result of the "neo-con" movement which ultimately did great damage to the GOP when a number of liberals miraculously became "Republicans" and brought with them their hidden, liberal agenda. The "neo-con" movement was a Trojan horse filled with liberals on a mission to divide and conquer. The power, scope, and size of the Federal Government has increased exponentially as a result of the neo-con infiltration of the GOP and the Party was damaged as a result. Fortunately, some good Constitution-minded conservatives are working hard to bring the GOP back to a higher standard.
