America's Uninsured Rate Is Now Lowest Ever

Yeah it's really amazing what happens when the Federal Government gives away stuff paid for with other peoples money.

Indeed and the taxpayers are damn tired of it too and will make their voices heard in the Presidential election.
No they aren't. They aren't tired of government gifts at all. They would scream like hippies if you took away all their deductions, credits, and exemptions.

Don't kid yourself. The American people love their government gifts. They just get jealous of other people getting them, even though they are taking the lion's share compared to people on social welfare.

Those that are paying for it are tired of paying for the handouts. You are stupid.
Those that are paying for it have no idea they are paying for it. That's the beauty of it.

You are paying for $1.2 trillion of handouts every year and don't even know it. That's double the amount we pay for social welfare programs.

You are the one who is stupid. Actually, ignorant.

You are deliberately kept that way by BOTH parties, rube. You have no idea your pockets are being robbed. In fact, they have tricked you into believing the government is putting money IN your pocket!

Hardly. Some of us have accountants and tax attorneys. We know.
That accountant is benefiting from the subsidies. Big time. He wants your taxes as complicated as possible. If you told him you believed all tax expenditures should be banned, he would do his best to convince you that is a wrongheaded idea. He'd be one of the first people put out of business, which is why their lobby pays millions and millions and millions of dollars a year to Congress.

So you don't know. You have no clue. Every time you take a deduction or credit or exemption, you are helping to rob every taxpayer, including yourself.

My accountant is my own daughter. She is part owner of the corporation now as are another daughter and a son. If she screws me, she screws herself. You just can't win, can you? You think you know all about it and you really know nothing.

This is just going to be a precedent for the left in the future. If not enough people are going to do XYZ then the government has got to make them. This kind of started back with school integration where the federal courts ordered states to begin forcing students to go to schools that were not their choice in order to reach a racial quota. Now we have to buy insurance. What else are we going to have to do in the future? Isn't it wonderful that we live in a free country?

You are screwing yourself. Just like I said. You are screaming like a hippie to protect your deductions, credits, and exemptions, completely oblivious that you are supporting higher tax rates and massive deficit spending to keep the whole wreck rolling.

$1.2 trillion a year. The largest government handout program in the history of the Universe.

You know those candidates who are talking about how their tax plan would result in a one page tax return? The only way that is possible is by eliminating all deductions and credits.

They are lying through their teeth because they know the American people would never let go of their personal government tit.

You are punished with higher taxes for not buying a house. And yet just try to get the American people to go along with eliminating the mortgage interest deduction.

You are punished with higher taxes for not having children. Yet just try to get the American people to go along with eliminating the child tax credit.

It amuses me you rubes suddenly got up in arms over being punished with higher taxes for not having health insurance. TOO FUCKING LATE TO COMPLAIN NOW! You've been going along with this kind of scheme your entire lives.

Don't pretend this is a Left thing. It's an EVERYBODY thing. "Gimme gimme gimme, and make that guy over there pay for it."

Then we blame that guy over there when everything goes to shit.

Smoke and mirrors. All this fake rage put on as theater for the rubes over ObamaCare so they don't notice the GOP sold them down the river to the Democrats and single payer healthcare decades ago.

Man, if you rubes ever figured out what's really going on, you'd be burning Washington DC to the ground.

Yes, the tax breaks for businesses and corporations were intentionally put in because we are the backbone of America. We pay the taxes for all the Liberal handouts and employ the people too. Who do you really think finances the candidates of both parties?

Yeah it's really amazing what happens when the Federal Government gives away stuff paid for with other peoples money.

Also when the Federal government compels people to buy something.

Meanwhile, the majority of people have insurance that's much more expensive and that they can't use because the deductibles are so high.

First off, my home is an ongoing corporate tax deduction along with my utility bills as well. My insurance is a corporate tax deduction. Also, I have three children. Once again, your argument falls on sand. Grow up. Smell the roses.

I wonder if Kentucky Governor elect Matt Bevin has heard - "There’s evidence that being insured may even cut down on your risk of death"

Thanks, Obamacare: America's Uninsured Rate Is Now Lowest Ever
Nov 5, 2015

In June 2010, about 16% of Americans were uninsured.

But by June 2015, that number had fallen to 9% — and it’s never been this low before.

The new data comes from the National Health Interview Survey, which the CDC and the Census Bureau have been conducting for more than 50 years. The questions have changed over the years, but the answers were always the same: More than 10% of respondents, and sometimes as many as 18% of Americans, have reported that they’ve been uninsured.

Not anymore. This is the second straight survey to find that America’s uninsured rate is now in the single digits. More than 20 million previously uninsured Americans have gained coverage in the past five years.

And every new survey makes the connection to the Affordable Care Act even more obvious. You can see America’s uninsured rate significantly decline in 2014, when Obamacare’s coverage expansion programs began to kick in.

THERE WERE ONLY 4 MILLION THAT TRULY WANTED AND NEEDED HEALTH INSURANCE...NOT 46 MILLION!
10 million of the 46 million were not legal citizens. Income, Poverty and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2009 - Income & Wealth - Newsroom - U.S. Census Bureau

14 million simply had to register with their state's Medicaid but they didn't know they were eligible and this was BEFORE ACA!
http://coverageforall.org/pdf/BC-BS_Uninsured-America.pdf

18 million never wanted health insurance even though they make over $50,000 didn't want their employers' insurance and are under 34 so they
have no need. CRISIS OF THE UNINSURED: 2009

Subtract that 42 million from 46 million leaves 4 million!

CMS states that 115,000 persons enrolled in Obamacare had not provided proof of citizenship by the Sept. 5 deadline, down from 966,000 in May, and will be dropped from Obamacare as of Sept. 30, but those with "immigration data-matching issues" were allowed to retain their Obamacare coverage during a six-month grace period to provide documentation.
“Last year was nothing short of a disaster, and as a result, the administration continues to bend the rules for people who did not comply with the law in the first place, with an exorbitant cost to the U.S. taxpayer."

The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) commented that Obamacare eligibility rules sacrifice "document standards, authentication assurance, and identification integrity in order to speed and maximize enrollment in federal health coverage, including welfare programs such as Medicaid.

"Rapidly expanding health coverage to some 40 million people, coupled with relaxed ID and verification standards, only increases the likelihood of fraud and improper enrollment of ineligible people, including aliens. Furthermore, the combination of relaxed verification and documentation standards could enable certain identity fraud schemes to be developed."

BILLIONS of dollars to insure 20 million people out of 360,MILLION, which is more like 10million because who believe's anything this Administration puts?

I can't believe Forbes ran that with that gag worthy title.

Prove it.

It wasn't that long ago you were claiming Obamacare was a job killer, you were wrong about that, now you're claiming people with jobs aren't paying their fair share?

Why should I believe your projection? Please explain yourself...

.

Please explain how someone getting something that another group is forced to subsidize for them is a good thing.
We do it all the time.

Your tax deductions, credits, and exemptions are subsidized by other people by way of higher tax rates on everyone.

And, specific to the topic, the biggest government subsidy by far is the employer sponsored health insurance tax exemption.

can't have that shit, employer subsidy ... how fucked up is that ? Right Freefox?

An employer taking what they pay toward health insurance is a business expense.

Many business got out of employer-sponsored insurance and left it to the employee to provide for himself. Others cut the hours an employee worked in a work week and other went to hiring part-time workers to escape Obamacare.

According to CNN Money, you're perpetuating a Republican/rightwing myth No, Obamacare is not reducing employees' hours, CNNMoney (New York) June 25, 2015 - what is it with you guys, making stuff up that is so easily debunked?
