Abortion = Social JUSTICE?

In fact, I'm pretty much a "if it feels good run like hell" advocate.
If that is how you wish to live your life, and raise your children, it is your prerogative.

That sounds like a very miserable way to live, and so I do not follow it. To each his own.

And good luck with teaching your kids sex is a.o.k. at the age of 14.

I remember when my mother, a devout atheist, had the "sex" talk with me. I was 14. She told me that sex was natural and if I wanted to, I could, just to use protection.

It made me think there was something wrong with me because I wasn't indulging in it.

We're supposed to protect our children, not prostitute them.

This is generally supported by pro-choicers, yes.
No it isn't.
How many single, female college students get abortions? How many Planned Parenthood agencies canvass college campuses?

Yes, if a mother is unable to provide a stable home for the fetus, abortion is seriously recommended as an option. Would you like me to scan the flyers outside my apartment put out by the local Planned Parenthood?

YES, to your offer that i highlighted in bold. please, scan the flyers outside your apartment, put out by the local planned parenthood, i'd be interested in seeing what they advertise in flyers.

How do you equate what your mother did to prostituting you?

Unfortunately, it will take some time to get you the image, because I need to head to the public library for the scanner.

For now, their website will have to do. In particular, note their warnings against anti-abortion crisis centers.

it is not surprising that socialists see 50 million dead as a "social justics" for them it is, for everyone else it is barbarity and inhumannity

Along the same lines, did you see the Justice Ginsburg quote, implying that the Roe v. Wade decision was aimed at keeping the size of the black population in check?

"In an astonishing admission, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg says she was under the impression that legalizing abortion with the 1973 Roe. v. Wade case would eliminate undesirable members of the populace, or as she put it "populations that we don't want to have too many of."
Her remarks, set to be published in the New York Times Magazine this Sunday but viewable online now, came in an in-depth interview with Emily Bazelon titled, "The Place of Women on the Court."

And how about the government bureaucrat who is in favor of forced abortion and sterilization:

"a. Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society.

b. It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society.

c. Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods is a suggestion that seems to horrify people more than most proposals for involuntary fertility control. Indeed, this would pose some very difficult political, legal, and social questions, to say nothing of the technical problems. No such sterilant exists today, nor does one appear to be under development. To be acceptable, such a substance would have to meet some rather stiff requirements: it must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets, or livestock.

Perhaps I should mention that the author of these views, John P. Holdren has these official titles: Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy; Assistant to the President for Science and Technology; and Co-Chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. That’s right, the Obama Science Czar.

'Science Czar' John P. Holdren's disturbing beliefs about America, capitalism and humanity

obamas health care scam will no doubt at some point contain forced abortions to control population in an attempt to sustain a regulated slave state

America's own Dr. Mengele

Obama's New Science Czar or America's own Dr.... | Gather

It should come as no surprise to anyone by now that President Obama's science czar, his top political advisor on matters scientific, is a certifiable lunatic. John Holdren is his name and his book, Ecoscience; Population, Resources, Environment, is truly chilling reading. Dr Holdren, it seems is a student of the Mengele school of eugenics. In his book he promotes the forced sterilization of women through implants after a second pregnancy. He also expresses a belief that sterlization would be much easier by adding an agent to the drinking water supply of certain "undesireable" populations. How absolutely final solutionish!! Here are some of his beliefs, quoted directly from above referenced book.

That doesn't prove in any way your claim that most pro choicers think single pregnant women should abort. P

well, I had the COMPLETE OPPOSITE rearing....sex was a strict no- no! NO MATTER WHAT! Was what mom taught me and it was well known that my ass was grass if dad and mom ever got a whiff of otherwise! A girt WAITS until she is married rearing....

I didn't even get the ''facts of life'' talk from her...thank goodness a friends mother had a child's book that went over it!

only made me more curious as to what the heck were they all up in arms about....?

so, the complete opposite of your mom was my mom allie, and that wasn't necessarily affective either.

they say with girls, it is really the father that plays an important role in puberty....that gives them confidence and self esteem and self worth, that helps with making the wise decision to wait, until it is real serious of a relationship and not hop around as much....???

They advertise their abortion clinics.

It's Big Business.

It is all about the money, as for Maragret Sanger is was all about being a racist. Have you ever noticed that most abortion clinics are located in poorest neigborhoods?

As I said, I don't advocate a non-educational approach. But I made sure my kids knew where I stood.

It turned out pretty well.

So would you choose the proper husband or wife for your child, so that they have a stable, safe family life? Many cultures hold up arranged marriages as the ideal.

After all, we cannot risk your child marrying a poor, alcoholic abuser because of the meager pleasures of romantic love, Right?

OMG, run for the hills Crisis pregnancy Centers are run by people who like children

LOL, PP has to spend a lot of money to advertise against, AKA as lying about a group of volunteers who do nothing but give a hand up. I happen to be one of those volunteers.

That's not my claim. My claim is that most pro-choicers think fetuses that lack an identifiable/present father ought to be aborted, such is the case with rape victims.

Rape victims represent almost zero percent of all abortion clinic victims.

Don'tchya know that you are secretly trying to force pregnancies????

PP makes tens of millions of dollars profit every year.

Tell me they're non-profit now.

Not me.

Once again, I pose the question..how is abortion "social justice"?
The elimination of unwanted children is assumed to be a social good, of course. The Romans practiced it, as well. A child was nothing until accepted by a family, and many an infant starved for lack of want by the father.

Today, unwanted children are a net drag on both our social safety nets and our crime fighting agencies. Thus, it is a social good to prevent such children from being born.

Quod Erat Demonstratum

So how do you feel about the disabled? Are they also a net drag?
