My white as snow family were likely one of those families she educated on birth control.
I've been researching my ancestry for over two years now...
And all of my great grandma's had 8 or 9 or 10 kids, and even 14 kids for one grandpa who had 8 kids with my grandma who died in giving child birth, and married another younger woman and had another 6 kids with her....
Many during that time could not feed the mouths of their own children....they were rock bottom poor....
My family ancestors mostly used all child hands on deck, to run the family farms...so they were more fortunate.
It was common in the south to have 10 kids...there wasn't much to entertain themselves, I guess???
This was impoverishment for most families, with no means for birth control than an education on how babies happen.... She empowered women, with knowledge.... the rhythmic method of birth control... Then the birth rates came down, to maybe 5 kids a family, instead of 10.

Oh I have no problem with birth control. The problem I have is that one person decided who should or shouldn't have kids.
Who decided? And if you don't have a problem with birth control then why do you have a problem with a lady who never made decisions for people and only educated them?
Though working where I do I can see where loads of "parents" shouldn't have kids cause they sure don't raise them and it has nothing to do with eugenics.

The worst Supreme Court decision in the 20th century Buck v Bell 1927 (majority opinion by Oliver Wendel Holmes) authorized involuntary sterilization. It was part of the trend by political progressives toward a brave new world of eugenics.

I have no idea... Nobody looked at fetuses as human before Roe. People weren't convicted of murder for having abortions or performing them.

Sanger's main objection to abortion was that it was still a pretty dangerous proposition in 1920. We didn't have antibiotics and methods were crude.

Well, mostly because abortion isn't an 'entity'. It's a procedure.
Now, yes, there is some systematic racism here... just not what you think it is. Women of color are more likely to be poor, more likely to not have easy access to health care, and less likely to be able to afford an unwanted pregnancy, so more likely to have need to terminate a pregnancy than a white woman
