I just don't understand why the Conservatives haven't got up an anti-government movement. The circus has left town here, but a permanent third party of Conservatives preaching--literally!--that people should not have medicare, Socialist Security, funding for local projects, NASA and all those other government programs would be a hoot. The exception of course would be the increased military spending.

Why can't Conservatives do this? That Palin clown could be the leader of the party, with Rush Limpdick as a sound board for them to abolish all government spending not related to making more wars.

Why not?

Why does there need to be a third party advocating for this when the Republicans have it on lock?

The same reason the libtards aren't preaching that the government should run every single aspect of our lives........

Oh wait that's what they ARE doing isn't it?

Because the Republicans failed to deliver when they had the majority. In fact, they expanded government. If they had been true Conservatives they would have cut of Health Care funds and old people all acorss the country would have been deprived care, thrown out of nursing homes and kicked out of hospitals. But a Conservative movement can accomplish those sick goals!

Second time today I've had to say this. But I really hate when people purposely cloud issues to decieve people.

No one has ever argued against people having medical coverage. Just the stupidity of having the government run it.

Social security is a failed system. There is no point denying this. It's a ponzi scheme and we have all recently seen what that does to people.

No one has ever argued against funds for local projects, only that they should come from local sources, since after all the Constitution provides no authority for the federal government to do this. Not to mention many local projects can be supported by private citizens.

No one has argued against NASA on the right. In fact, it was President Bush and conservatives who called for more exploration of both the Moon and Mars. It was the liberals laughing at that yelling there are more important things to do. As if is knowledge isnt important.

And heaven forbid the federal government use taxes to do the one thing it's actually authorized to do!

What is it you find so offensive to freedom and self government? Why do you want so badly to have people completely dependent on government to survive? It's completely foreign to everything this nation was built on.

More lies. Sighs. Do you guys have anything better?

Run it? How about fund it? Is it ok for the government to fund health care? Just yes or no.

No of course not. Its always wrong to enslave people to government. It's always wrong for people to give up freedom to idiots in Washington who have no clue what they are doing.

Exactly! I wish the Republicans would take up this abolitionist crusade against health care. The idea is so stupid and really evil, that it would destroy the Republicans.

I assume Social Security would be abolished too undera true "Conservative" government?

And I am also corrupt that the military would be only major item on the federal budge? Yes?

This is why you Conservatives are considered complete fools, village idiots and ignoranmouses

when did you become a conservative?

It does seem to me that the Republican Party isn't a small government party anymore. Although I do see them going back to these principles as an effort to oppose Obama's seemingly inevitable government expansion.

Grand idea.

Why not run your idea up the flagpole and see how many people salute it?

The Republicans aren't opposed to government expansion, they'd just rather see it expand in different areas than the Democrats.

No, America has rejected neo-conservatism.

Not true. America just elected big government liberals to office. Not just RINO's, but true liberals, big government liberals. The losers were the Conservatives. America doesn't want them.

America confused neo-conservatism for actual conservatism, but it was still neo-conservatism that they rejected.
