Scheffler rips into his caddie for a minutes long tirade after hitting into the water at the Memorial.

What Scottie Scheffler said to caddie Ted Scott

"I never thought it was in the water," Scheffler said. "I don't know what to do." His frustrations mounted when Scott offered some inaudible advice. "I can't hear a word you're saying, dude," Scheffler replied as he started the walk toward the drop zone.

"I feel like that was a good shot," Scheffler said. "It was a good shot," Scott replied. "Now I'm in the water because it (the wind) came in out of the right," Scheffler responded.

"Absolutely flushed a 7-iron and we get the wind wrong and I'm in the water," Scheffler went on to say. "I don't think you understand how frustrating that is. Like that was a good shot, really was, flushed it, liked the line. The wind's turning out of the right. Golly."

"I don't understand what I'm meant to do," Scheffler said as he caught up with Scott at the drop zone. "I don't understand. I really don't. I mean, it was 5 yards short of the green, flushed ... because it's in too off the right. Like, there's no way it could curve that much if the wind is helping us. It's so frustrating. ... I hit good shots, and drop it from hazards. Cannot get the wind right."

Scheffler did rebound with a birdie on the 17th to finish the day at 1 over.

According to Yahoo Sports, Scheffler told reporters after his round it was "just another really good iron shot, and the wind switched from down off the right to pretty significantly in off the right. ... It can be very frustrating sometimes when you feel like you're hitting good shots and then you're going to the drop zone."

He didn't rip the dudes ass; he was more just venting to him than at him, if that makes sense. Frustration, shit's not goin right. It happens.
