I consider Conservative Jews, of whom I am one, to participate strongly in Jewish traditions - kosher, Shabbat services (usually), Hebrew School growing up, adult class for more Torah learning, holidays (Purim Party tomorrow after Megillah reading, yea!), etc., etc.

I hope you’re not one of those Orthodox Jews who considers the 85% - 90% who are not Orthodox to be not Jewish. Please tell me it’s not so.

Ukraine doesn't need to be part of NATO. The USA signed three treaties with Ukraine to defend its borders in exchange for nuclear disarmament. Ukraine fulfilled it's end of the deal and the world is a safer place. Now Putin sees incompetence and weakness in the Obama/Biden administrations and is taking advantage.

The USA provided security guarantees to Ukraine and if it doesn't honor them, what does that mean for future treaty making powers with other nations? Will anyone trust our word?

I didn't become "Orthodox" overnight; it took several years and old age for lots of concepts to kick in.
The process hasn't stopped and never will.
