Muslim with ties to World Trade Center terrorist wins NJ Primary…

By testifying on his behalf. He was a defense witness.
Fox News contributor Andrew McCarthy, the chief prosecutor in Abdel Rahman’s criminal trial, said Hamawy’s testimony ultimately helped the government’s case despite it being offered to undermine the prosecution’s case.

No one accused him of knowing what he was doing. His intention was to help his religious leader. Then too, it's not like the democrat led media is credible.

How did you determine what his intention was?

I guess you can travel through time and read minds.

He had to testify. It’s legally required to testify in court when called.
Yes. And if he honestly felt that the shiekh had a right to blow up the World Trade Center, kill six people and injure hundreds, he has an obligation to be upfront and testify to that.

Because he testified for the defense. Or do you think that was accidental. His intention was to testify on behalf of this shiekh and he did.

He had an obligation to answer the questions asked of him, which didn’t (and couldn’t) include anything like what you suggested.

Jesus, you’re not very smart.

Again, he was legally required to testify when called. It wasn’t about intent, it was about what he’s required to do.

And as stated, his testimony helped the prosecution.

He was not chosen out of a cast of thousands. He was not required to testify for the defense out of the blue. He was identified as being a defense witness and then subpoenaed. It would have been adorable if he had been called by the defense and then trashed their case. But lawyers generally know what witnesses are going to say before they take the stand. This is an Al Quaeda terrorist whose spiritual leader is a terrorist.

And yet, according to the prosecutor he harmed the defense.

All these opinions and you have absolutely no idea what he was asked to testify about.

He was asked to testify about his support for this shiekh
On Monday, the Washington Free Beacon published a story about Hamawy's testimony in Abdel-Rahman's July 1995 trial when the sheikh was charged with plotting to kill the Egyptian president. It cited a story in the New York Times archive, which described Hamawy as one of the sheikh's "supporters."
