I'll put it once again, because not everyone understands. Zelensky is now trying not to end the conflict, but only to freeze it, i.e. to postpone its resolution into the future. In this his position is similar to that of Trump, who just wants to stop shooting and get a Nobel Prize for it.

Russia, on the other hand, wants to end the conflict, to end it completely, so that the reasons that caused it do not have to be dealt with by our children.

Crimea prefers the Russians, being mostly Russian themselves as are the remaining residents of the Donbass.

If the Euros want to get into an endless and ultimately fruitless war, they will have to do so without American support (as we've had enough). I say that as both an American and a Euro.

And to think, I voted for the bastard too. What may excuse me though is that the alternatives were: Zuganov, a communist, of which we grew very much tired then, and Zhirinovsky, whom nobody took seriously at the time, and some clowns whom nobody remembers now, so we ended up with an asshole.

Indeed you did, all these people who complain about Putin should thank themselves lucky a Zhirinovsky is not in power, i observed events when Yeltsin came to power i was horrified for the Russian people i knew what he was from day one especially when he turned tanks on the white House in Moscow, he was stupid enough to think Western leaders like Clinton would treat him as an equal, well he found out different when NATO attacked Yugoslavia and occupied Kosovo.

Stop lying, they didn't want Russia in Nato because they would have had no reason to exist if Russia was a Nato member, they didn't have a reason to exist after the Warsaw pact dissolved.

Those rabid European leaders have had a problem with Russia for centuries it's a real sickness, they have been trying to break up Russia and loot it for a long time, Napoleon had his balls frozen running from Moscow in 1918/19 there was a Western alliance that invaded Russia including the US and the UK, Hitler invaded we know how that ended, as soon as WW2 ended the CIA never stopped working to undermine Ukraine supporting former Banderites and they are still at it today.
