An idiot living somewhere in the sticks, with clay between his toes, has never heard of the armed coup in Kiev in the winter of 2014...
He hasn't heard about the shootings carried out by nazi thugs (one of those responsible for this, Parubiy, was recently shot dead in the street), he hasn't heard about the trees (which were hit by some of the bullets) that were immediately cut down on the orders of the victorious coup leaders.
The idiot didn't even see the video in which the same Parubiy lets mercenaries with weapons in their holsters out of the hotel from which the shooting took place...

It's in such a bad shape because Putin has been playing with the Ukraine since he got into power in 1999 and because the west has seen the Ukraine as a piece on the board, but not a very important one. Enough to do something, but not enough to do enough.
