I believe Zelinski wants to fight a holding action. He’s hoping that he can wait Trump out. I’m sure that the Democrats have told him that they will be in charge again for certain after 2026 elections. After they reminded Zelinski what elections are.

The Democrats told him that they could force Trump to spend the money in Ukraine once again. Zelinski. knows they have plenty of motivation since they are getting such large cut of it.

He’s also banking on Trump kicking the bucket and leaving it to Vance. At least he was, until today. I noticed that Trump was kind of placid, but it was Vance who flew off the handle at Zelinski‘s being such a jerk.

The problem is that Zelinski has nothing to gain and lots to lose by going along with Trump’s idea for peace. While there is war, he has an excuse to avoid an election and a reason for uncle Sam to keep pumping harder, taxpayer dollars and do his pockets. peace in Ukraine means the money spigot from the US is turned off, and he may face life as a former president.

And we are supposed to go along with that because people like the comrade up above say “Russia out of Ukraine!”
