Yup, I'm going to go there. I'm going to use the "I" word.

Accountability is not retribution its true justice

Then why won't you hold Trump accountable for abusing his office and our government for retaliation against people he feels wronged him, while squashing investigations against people he happens to like?

His own appointed people are telling him there is not enough evidence to bring serious indicments and he tells them...I want them indicted anyway, and if you don't I will fire you and find someone loyal enough to do it.

Thats not equal justice under law, thats government serving Dear Leader.

After a two-month investigation, federal prosecutors in Virginia were unable to gather sufficient evidence to support bringing criminal charges against former FBI Director James Comey for allegedly lying to Congress, sources tell ABC News.

The prosecutors earlier this week summarized their findings -- that probable cause does not exist to secure an indictment, let alone a conviction at trial -- in a detailed declination memo for Lindsey Halligan, President Donald Trump's newly appointed U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, sources said.

Nevertheless, sources say Halligan plans to ask a grand jury in the coming days to indict Comey, escalating Trump's unprecedented directive to prosecute some of his political adversaries.

There's this thing in the law called "vindictive prosecution." Boy, does this ever fit that description.

Clearly they were wrong because a grand jury in fact did find PC.

Not clearly, the charge for lying to Congress was rejected by grand jury and it's not clear if that was the part of the indictment discussed.

The rest of it looks weak as hell and Trump administration's off-the-charts prejudice against Comey will ensure very high scrutiny by the judge and jury.

No clearly, the GJ issued the indictments

No he’s got two indictments, one of which is for making false statements to Congress

No clearly, the GJ issued the indictments

It also issued a rejection.

You not being unable to consider both being true at the same time just speaks to your inability at objective thought.

1. AS we have learned, impeachment only matters if your party controls the Senate in sufficient numbers to pass it.
2. Trump's declining health is such that a 25th Amendment issue may be more likely.
lite those candles.

Maybe should look at the actuall two indictments before you continue to make yourself look stupid

Did you take a look understand the indictments Trump's own appointed US Atorney quit/fired over?

Don't lie now.

Huh? That attorney never had any indictments

He never presented anything to a grand jury

I did see the actual indictments the grand jury returned once presented the evidence

Dummy, he refused to bring these indictments because he didn't think there was sufficient evidence.

Trump then fired him and put in place his own, highly unqualified, personal lawyer who is willing to indict this loser case anyway.

Nothing like Trump thinking a life long republican who submarined Hilary with a bullshit FBI statement just before the 2016 election is in cohorts with that same candidate to "get" Trump. I am thinking you idiots have to be simply the dumbest group of people who have ever existed on the planet. The good news is that all that stupidity results in a giant tax cut for me this year. Thank you rubes!

The grand jury brings the indictments. He refused to present the evidence to a grand jury

Once a grand jury saw the evidence, they brought the indictments

How’s this hard for you to understand? You have made us all dumber with your post

Obviously she was more qualified then him since he thought there wasn’t enough for an indictment, when in fact there was

The grand jury thinks you are an idiot.

I think indictments mean you are guilty as ****. Lets bury Comey and this loser from these 37 indictments UNDER the jail. Who is with me!?!?!?!?

The standard for bringing an indictment IS NOT just being able to secure indictment, which is merely establishing of probable cause.

The standard in DOJ has been to only bring a cases where the prosecutors believe they can PROVE CHARGES BEOYOND REASONABLE DOUBT in a court of law.

Trump doesn't give a shit about any of that, he just wants to make life difficult for Comey to settle his grievances and send a message to others who dare to investigate him.

Wait? Do indictments matter or not? I am trying to join the right now. You guys win. So... do indictments mean you're guilt as **** or not? I cant tell.

It reasonably means there is probable cause, no more, no less.

The fact that Trump's DOJ (again!) couldn't clear that low bar on one of the charges says all you need to know about their desperation to appease Dear Leader.
