WEF Calls For End to Private Car Ownership

Cutting down on "wasteful" car ownership will help to avert a "climate apocalypse," says the WEF

Ending private car ownership is essential to addressing climate change, the WEF argues. The forum goes on to advocate for the same principles to be applied to city and home designs as well.

“A design process that focuses on fulfilling the underlying need instead of designing for product purchasing is fundamental to this transition,” the WEF wrote. “This is the mindset needed to redesign cities to reduce private vehicles and other usages.”

A number of European nations and U.S. states have already passed legislation that will ban the sale of non-electric cars as soon as 2030. Washington, New York and California have already passed such measures while a growing number of EU member states have done the same.

In Ireland, the government has told citizens that they will be packed into densely populated cities in order to combat climate change. Drivers will be forced off the roads as part of a plan that will “revolutionize” people’s lifestyle and behaviors.

In addition, the International Energy Agency (IEA) has directed global governments to drastically cut oil supply to domestic consumers in order to encourage compliance by “nudging” people out of their private cars.

I suppose they expect us to bow down and take it on our knees, huh? Maybe, just maybe their immeasurable hubris will allow some of us to slip through the cracks. I don't know what they're waiting for. I wish they'd just get it over with already so we die on our feet or disappear into some mountain forest fastness. The waiting is a real bitch.

That is the plan, crowd the vast majority into massive cities in little tiny apartments. No AC, just neighborhood 'cooling centers'. Black gangs to keep people in line (see how black violence is exploding in inner cities and nothing being done about most of it?).

Part of the plan is to inundate Europe, the USA, and Canada with third-world immigrants. Biden is pushing that part forward at breakneck speed with the open borders.

Even many stupid Republicans and conservatives keep repeating the BS that we need legal immigrants. Yeah, for your own doom you dummies.

It is impossible not to see that fundamental preconceptions must evolve if human evolution is to continue.

Can y ou ge4t more sensational with this BS? The sad part is, there are people that will believe this.

The waiting is a real bitch.

The Turkish-German Minister of Agriculture is warning German farmers not to get uppity like their Dutch colleagues have. In Germany, order must be maintained!
Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Der Spiegel:
Özdemir warns German farmers against radical protests
In the Netherlands, farmers have been demonstrating against stricter environmental regulations for weeks. Dissatisfaction is also growing in Germany — Minister of Agriculture Özdemir is massively opposed.

Federal Agriculture Minister Cem Özdemir sees no reason for farmer protests in Germany to be as radical as those in the Netherlands.

All around the world, governments are crumbling. The only certainty is that the lies will be followed by more lies. Johnson has gone, drowned in a cess pit of his own design. Assassination in Japan. Sri Lanka’s Presidential palace burning. Biden, Macron, Trudeau et al are all in deep trouble. As is that maniac in New Zealand. And is there anyone in charge in Australia?

It’s all leading us by our noses into the world government they’ve been planning for years. Schwab, Gates, Blair, Prince Charles, a Rothschild or two, a Rockefeller or two and so on.

Look around you these days and you’ll see an absence of hope in people’s eyes; despair and a sad acceptance of the manufactured reality; a willingness to do anything they are told to do.

No coincidence the Netherlands is the world's 2nd largest exporter of foot. It's a damn good place to jam up if you want to keep billions of stomachs empty. This shit is really going down.

Like the UN the WEF is toothless and they have absolutely no power to enforce their will on any country

Car batteries
EV’s made practical

I think there is a second solution to the recharging problem.
Instead of spending hours recharging your car battery, why not just exchange the battery pack with a recharged one?

The current gas service stations could dig up the huge fuel tanks and replace this space with automated racks of charged battery packs.
The car drives into a narrow space like today’s drive-through car washing stations.
I think this would be a simple solution to a huge problem.

The turnaround time should be about as long as it took to fill the tank of a conventional car gas tank.

When the total impracticality of the present personal-transportation-vehicle preconception finally takes hold, people will still be left with desire to accomplish the same goal by sustainable means. Then, a really modest sized, low powered, very low-cost vehicle with reasonable autonomy will become very welcome. It may require a modification of what now serves as traffic infrastructure, especially as velocipedes will also be much more numerous. Much has to be re-thought and re-imagined. Hostilities to change have to be set aside and in favor of tolerance of the possibility of advance in a new direction.
