YOu have to make $100K to afford McDonalds

If you are poor or even middle class you likely cannot afford to eat out, even at fast food places.

This is what trump is doing to our economy.

Hold the fucking phone here. In LA? The state that demanded minimum wage increases that closed many eateries, is trying to blame Trump for their failures? A quarter pounder meal in LA costs 30 dollars because of California regulations and taxes. Trump has nothing to do with that. We told you retards this was going to happen and you did it anyway. Enjoy your government provided burger you fucking idiot.

This has been happening for a long time. Only thing Trump is doing is to continue making it all worse.

When I retired in 2020 you could get two sausage mcmuffins and a large diet coke for $3.00.

Now it's between $5 and $6. It didn't just happen the last couple months.
The arteries of America rise as one and rejoice!

Don't forget the special sauce!

What can you expect from the land of fruits and nuts where they mandated $16.50 minimum wage. McDonalds is no higher here, than they were during the xiden regime. Of course they weren't putting out selective stories like this during the xiden regime.

.

Go ahead and post jobs for $7.25 then if $15 per hour is too much. I bet prospective employees apply in droves.

The thing is, cheap food is no longer cheap.
Good food is in relative terms. It's just that people are too sorry to cook real food.

Damn, now I want me some fried cabbage. ;)

A head of cabbage typically costs between $0.50 and $3.00.
Cabbage is a low-calorie and high-fiber vegetable that has many benefits for your health. Some of the benefits of cabbage are:

/----/ Complete horseshyt. I take my grandkids almost every week. I don't eat it because of the fat and sugar. It is not expensive at all.
At McDonald's, a value meal generally costs between $6 and $10, including a burger, fries, and a drink. The price can vary based on location, specific meal choices, and any ongoing promotions. For example, a $5 meal deal often includes a McChicken or McDouble, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, small fries, and a small soft drink. Additionally, some locations may offer $6 classic meals with options like a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Big Mac, or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets.

After retiring I started driving for a couple local car dealers. Deliver cars to people who bought a car. A dealer trade. A run to the auctions. Days can be 5 to 20 hours long.

I'm not pulling over and cooking a meal.

I carry my (home-made) provender with me on extended trips.

What, are you too sorry to make sandwiches and carry a lunch bucket?

Why spend an hour's wages at some stop-n-puke?

I love fried cabbage.

Fry it up in some bacon grease then hit it with some soy sauce. A touch of water, cover and steam till desired tenderness. Salt and pepper to taste. Yummy!
/---/ I used to eat kimchi, but I no longer can handle the hot spices. I used to get it from a Korean market in NYC, along with a Korean beer. The cute young lady behind the counter's eyes lit up because a white guy ordered it. She would give me extra.
Kimchi, often spelled "kimchee," is a traditional Korean side dish made from salted and fermented vegetables, most commonly napa cabbage or Korean radish. It's known for its distinct sour, salty, and spicy flavor, often enhanced with various seasonings like garlic, ginger, chili powder, and fish sauce.

I used to buy it (fresh) all the time at Global Foods in Manassas, Virginia.

That was until the Hispanics took over the area and they did away much of the Asian produce with it in favor of Hispanic food.
