Would you intervene like Penny did on the subway???

I would trust their opinion more than I would the opinion of a random internet keyboard jockey. Of course, if that gets overturned, are you going to trust those who overturned it?
Depends on if it was lawful or not.

Hmm, I thought the other people on the train said they felt threatened. Did they not say that?

Also, there were two black guys who helped penny hold the guy down, why were they not also charged as accessories?
They weren't choking him to death.

In fact, their hands were no where near his neck.

So, it's okay if we look at why a case was brought and the lengths to which a prosecutor bends laws and precedent, obviously trying to take out an opposition politician?

In every video recording of the incident what you hear from people on the train, is them screaming at Neely to get off the victim before he kills him.

Passengers who were in the subway car when homeless man Jordan Neely launched into a maniacal rant described his words as “insanely threatening” — and said they hid and prayed until ex-Marine Daniel Penny stepped in and placed him in a chokehold, according to a new filing seeking to dismiss the controversial criminal case.

One witness testified to the grand jury that Neely’s menacing words — which included ravings that “someone is going to die today” and that he was “ready to go to Rikers” — were “insanely threatening” and delivered with a “sickening” and “satanic” bent.

The witness “believed he was going to die as Neely began approaching him,” the motion read.

“He described the moment as ‘absolutely traumatizing’ beyond anything he had ever experienced in six years riding the subway,” the lawyers wrote.

Another witness — who was with her young son — told the grand jury that Neely said he wanted to hurt people.

“I want to go to Rikers, I want to go to prison,” she recalled him saying, adding that her nervous son asked her why the man would want to be jailed.

Mother and son took cover behind her son’s stroller, shielding themselves from Neely, who was now making ‘half-lunge movements’ and coming within a ‘half a foot of people,” the attorneys wrote.

And a different person — this time, a retiree who’s been riding the subway for more than three decades — told the grand jury that she’d never been more scared.

Sounds like the situation was very much a hostile situation from neely.

Let me ask you, had neely actually killed someone, and an able bodied person was standing their and COULD have done something, but chose not to, what do you think the narrative be? "White dude stands by as raving man on subway kills passenger" and "the world is such an insensitive place, where someone who could have stopped it, didnt"

And then there is the 3rd possibility, that neely wouldn't have done anything. Now the question is, if your wife and child were on that subway car when this happened, would you think penny a good person for taking action?

Nobody here could overtake me here that's a guarantee

Doesn't matter, they were helping. They didn't try to get penny off of him, kinda like the officers who were accessories to the Floyd murder who never touched him.

Let's put it this way, if those two guys that held neely down had been white, they would have probably been on trial too and the left would have demanded that they get charged for contributing to neelys death.

You know I'm right on this.

Yeah, that's totally fine.

If I'm not mistaken, those guys briefly helped.

Penny had the man in a deadly chokehold for many minutes.

The death is all on Neely.

deflection, I get it. Admit it, if they were white, they would have been on trial next to penny..

Penny also said he didn't mean to kill him and from what I understand, didn't even know he had died til later.

A legend in your own mind. You and Joe Biden. LMAO, what a pair to draw to.
I didn't cast a vote in November. So you can't equate me with anything. If I perceived a threat to my family by a lesser I'd step up. Yet you criticize that. We get it.

He shouldn't be able to get off killing a man in cold blood who didn't harm him, or anyone for that matter, w/o consequence.

Why are you trying to lump others in w/his lot?

Link to that, we'd all like to see it. No one criticized your bravado. Your powers of reasoning simple logic----not so much.
I'd react according to what I perceive. I'd never go into a big city no matter the politics. I don't trust blue or red. My patriotic outlook.
